You overpay for the spine and im ok with Laurie, Doeuhi and Hastings so hooker is where to fill the void.

We also need 2 backrowers but no idea where we get them to partner Blore

What about Sims from dragons?

Yes he's 31 but looks after his body & still playing origin.

I believe he's a really good person off the field and would be a great leader for the young guys

When are we going to learn?! We want players coming into their prime, not coming out if it.

He only played origin due to injuries and suspensions. Granted he played well, but how well did he go for the Dragons? I guarantee they will be cheering if they could offload that contract. It would be like us getting rid of Packer last season.

Do we really believe that Maguire, Pascoe and Harrigan have even a remote interest in signing anybody? They are all interested in saving their own jobs. With over $1.6 million in CAP space it would be a real calamity not to have any new quality signing/s prior to next March. But these guys have the future of Wests Tigers in their hands and at least two of them, are just loafing it out on their own big salaries. Woe betide the poor Wests Tigers supporters.

Let's sort out the coach first then decide on players. I think we should learn from past errors of overpaying players. A big no from me. 1.6 million banded around should be able to buy mid range experience players to compliment the juniors. Stefano needs an urgent upgrade or he will walk.

He's more or less confirmed that he will be leaving Melbourne hasn't he? To play #9 fulltime? Either way, it was a pretty frivolous suggestion.

I would not be rushing out to spend heaps at this stage ..signing a good coach is priority. Bring in a few reliable players then straighten the team out next season . I have no doubt if the coach can bring the team up
to a competitive level at least and with the new COE on show I see no reason why the club should not be looking an attractive option once again .

Two former greats in Fittler and Gallen who have played the game at the highest level and are **respected** for their knowledge of our game of Rugba League.
They wouldn't be in the positions they are in if they weren't respected by the people that **matter most.**
These two blokes get it.
They know what it takes to build a **successful Team.**
I'm damn sure they have a lot more **good and sensible knowledge** of what it takes to build a **successful Team** than I do, and dare I say it, probably more than 99% of people on here.
They aren't weighed down as We are as fans of Wests Tigers by the **emotion** of what's right and wrong.
And that emotion, Us v Them..Wests Magpies supporters v Balmain Tigers supporters and vice versa is what has held Us back for so many years, and we are only now just starting to emerge from that cocoon of mediocrity and bitterness and **spread our wings** **in a great leap forward** .
As they both suggested and imo
1. we need to keep **Madge** at least until his contract runs out
2. we need to re-locate to a re-developed **Campbelltown** to secure Our future in the fastest growing area in Australia.

Hi all

While it is great to put faith in our juniors, we do need to get one big signing to get the ball rolling. Unfortunately, at the moment, if we are up against any other club (basically anyone), we will lose unless we pay overs (and sometimes we still miss out).

So while Maguire/Pascoe might say we won't overpay, what do we do? Because if we offer the same or similar to most clubs we miss out. So we probably need to do this for 1-2 signings (all be it they need to be quality signings, not ageing overated players). So when we look at the 2022 off contract list (next year is too late), who is the one marquee guy we have to splurge on to get the ball rolling?
