We still need a centre

We do need to enter the market for a centre for sure. However, in the meantime, I would really like to see Garner given a crack. He lacks genuine pace, but is a great front on defender, has a great temperament obviously (hence the 'c' next to his name), and is tall and rangy. As I said in another thread, he reminds of a young Beaver Menzies who played plenty of centre very successfully.
If not Garner, then I'd be going with Milne ahead of Kev, that's for sure.

Yep just said similar. The thing with Garner is he will be a quality back row FG player in a season or 2\. He needs to be blooded in to FG, we need a centre and he has played centre. Too much of an ask to play him in the second row FG now.

It's definitely an option if Milne don't come good.

I would give Milne a go this week and see how he goes. We have nothing to lose. Kev defending the Storm gives me night mares

how about tim simona.?Does he have any future in the nrl and or the wests tigers?
i ask this as ive only ever heard that he was banned indefinetely from the nrl and does he dererve another chance just as russell packer has been given.
Basically, has he been banned for life?

For 2018, I'd do a Bellamy and squeeze the best talent into our squad like he did with Inglis; Folau; Munster & Scott. Non were Centres, but he knew they were too good to leave out & because of their talent, will get the job done.

Tyson Gamble!

Im pretty sure I heard we offered Fergo a deal and he turned us down for a lesser one year deal to stay at the Roosters. Probably why his form is good -will get it up graded if he keeps going well.

Him taking the lesser deal could have something to do with his apparent casino incident and the Roosters handling it

On what planet was Kevin responsible for letting in that try? The chooks had numbers out wide and would have scored against almost any team. If he'd left their forward one on one with Brooks, I'm sure you guys would be bagging him out for that.

At least if you are going to put the boot in, give him credit for some of the great tackles he made.

Defensively he had it all over Marsters.

Conracts mean nothing these days. What about making a play for Brad Takairangi? He seems to be the odd one out at Parra now. I think he could do a good job at centre and offers good utility value.

It was 3 on 3 kev left his man unopposed to charge in leaving a gaping hole.It was all his fault and as for saying he was better than Marsters in defence i must have watched a different game

After JT sent him packing he probably hates us.

Damn, I had no idea the Tigers back-flipped on Takairangi's deal.

Another masterstroke from JT we actually had to pay part of his contract for him to play at parra without him ever playing a game for us

JT the gift that keeps on giving, we are still paying for Siro, and we payed $700k for Farah to play against us, so glad we beat the chooks, Teddy and JT can cry together

He got a 40/20 in the Knights trial. We really need more attacking options and speed the balance just doesn't seem right.

Yes please to Fergo. He was Roosters' best player by a mile last game

I would put I Line through Fergo because he has
I don't care how much Speed he has
Fergi doesn't get brown paper bags
He gets little clear plastic bags
No thanks
I am sure there will be plenty of other options if required
