Canberra's forward pack will tear holes through us like a kleenex at a snot party. We're going to get absolutely mollered Stryker.

Mollered ?? 😱pen_mouth:

Is that WA Talk ??

And snot party?? I don't think I've ever been to one of those!

Go to any Drs surgery in winter = snot party

That's how ugly it's going to be guys….real nasty stuff I predict.

Negativity aside

I think our best way to win this game is to run them raggered. We obviously can't compete in the forwards. So a lot of 2nd phase, unstructured footy is probably needed and a heavy flow of possession

If we get them fatigued unleash Teddy, Moses, Nofo and co to do their thing

Cronulla aren't exactly a big team like us either but used this game plan and it worked to their advantage

All in all, I'll be happy if we are atleast competitive in defeat

If we turn up with the right attitude and complete our sets it will go a long way towards winning. I hope Brooks and Moses can find the form that they displayed in round 1 and we can tire the big Raider's forwards. I trust JT will pick the team that gives us the highest chance of winning and gets them fired up especially the 2 2016 performances against them as well as what they dished up at campbelltown. I will still chear them on though so at least they still have 1 supporter :sign:

I also hope they win because I tipped them… 😛ray:

Tigers by 24 points!

I know where Simona sourced his Coke from now.

I'll take his money… It wasnt coke that I sold him though :sunglasses:

I don't know why , but I think we are half a chance if we can play smart and control the ball

Brooks getting his kicking game right would be the big key though and earning multiple repeat sets

I know how Simona feels , this club is a horrible drug , you sometimes wish you could break it , but sometimes they just give you that euphoric rush that you wish would rarely go away

Are they still without their captain? they are 12 points and one win worse than us in the ladder so we must be favourites. Funny Parra is leading.

I think we will beat the raiders. They were the only 2 games I knew we would lose before hand last year.

The game in Canberra was old boys day at the raiders they had all the stars of the past down in the dressing room getting the raiders up for it, they had a hige crowd and they were both a form team last yr and a big team. The 2nd game we had half our squad a risk of not playing through illness all week and having the flu at the moment I couldn't get myself up for a game if it was worth a million dollars

I think those 2 poor results work in our favour as the team will want to strike back. Also after our loss last week and with the Simona crap not happening on game day we will push them hard and win a close one.

No way we will get even close. Love to think we might be able to run them around, but sadly we will spend a lot of time standing under our goal posts. I can see a bleak month or two ahead

We'll go a lot closer than most of you are predicting. If being fired up for the dismal effort against the Panthers isn't enough, the two thumpings last year should add more incentive. We actually have a good record of turning up the next week after a thrashing. We won twice last year after getting a hiding. We'll be up for the game at the very least

Always hard to win in Canberra much less when the home team have lost two on the trot but I wouldn't write us off just yet. Leaving aside the Penrith teams undeniable good form against us it's hard to imagine the Simona fiasco and the garbage that appeared in newspapers just before the Penrith game would not have had some kind of adverse effect on our teams attitude last weekend. Simply disgusting how the Telegraph and its talentless drones are exploiting a very sad situation to sell their crap publications. Does anyone think these creeps give a damn about Tim's well being running these articles?

Its not impossible. Remember last year when the raiders put 60 on us. Everyone was predicting souths to steamroll over us the next week, but we got one over them.
Its the type of game we win.

So, who is going to be as silly as I was last year and waste hundreds of dollars on tickets, hotel, petrol money to see your team get beaten by 50?

I work Sunday mornings but if I can get it done by midday I'm a chance of making it from the city to Bruce stadium in time for kickoff. I'll see how I'm feeling Sunday morning and whether my wife's keen for a road trip. If it's a sunny day it'll be fun.

I sense many TV's could be off by the 30 minute mark next week…this could be messy.

Earth hour might be starting early this year.

Ted Glossip said when he was coaching the Canterbury in the early 80's a good small team will always beat a big team, you just don't let them catch you.

I'll say it right now, it's impossible. We won't get to within 30 points of the Raiders on Sunday, they'll have a training run against us.
