We will lose to Parra

IM calling it now. Unless there are major changes to players clearly not interested. Parramatta are actually having a dig for the most part, they are just suffer from a woeful lack of talent. However in front of their loyal fans and with the real chance of a last win for the year they will lift and beat us.

I was starting to see positives a few weeks ago and agree with now of the class Potter has made. He has clearly walked into a mess and is attempting to get a more balanced and motivated side in the year ahead. However in the meantime he has shown a serious lack of ability to select and motivate over the past month.

Unfortunetly this points to a humiliating defeat next week, where his job will no doubt come under scrutiny if the scoeline is similar.
 
I agree. I think Parramatta deserve to be favourites even after losing 10 in a row. They're having a dig which can't be the same for our team. I think they will win and win well. We need to get off our ass and go to NRL and get Luke Brooks a shot in first grade and look towards the future. That means no players like Ashyford who don't give a crap. Not going to comment on Benji at this stage as his been great for the club but his not interested so in two minds after his performances. We will have to hope that eels don't win anymore games after beating us. But to be honest I really don't care if we get the spoon anymore as either way we are embarrassing with no structure or pride in the jersey.
 
Now this is 1 sensible post , agreed 100% . we are woeful . If I had my way …. Anasta gone , Benji gone ,Lawrence gone ,Ayshford gone , what a waste of space these guys are . Liam Fulton does not stop trying gives his all , if we had 17 Fulton's we would win the comp

They are hopeless but put in.

We have potential but are hopeless because key players don't put in
 
I agree with Macdougall. This parramatta team is one of the worst teams ever. Ever. As in the history of footy. Even Benji and Lawry will look good next week. Scary thing is though that a great game from Lawry and Anasta probably gets them half a season in firsts next year.
 
we are bad but not that bad. As stated above, this Parra team is one of the worst NRL teams for any team in a long time. I can't remember anybody being so bad before.

I agree,and if Potter cant see this,then he needs to go to,Parra are putting in,we are not,if we think it's are a forgone conclusion then we are gunna end up with the spoon..
 
After the displays of the last 3 weeks what do the optimists think is going to change for this coming match?
Who has the greater reason for a win, the team playing at home ,trying to avoid the spoon or the team that had a chance of making the eight just by avoiding dumb Footy play and a marquee player trying to leave on a high but cannot manage this. I honestly want to be proven wrong but cannot see a win here and if we get towelled up by Roosters and Rabbits after this then we can start getting the plaque on the spoon as our F & A will match the eels before long

Players who are disgruntled, disinterested, and past their prime are a recipe for disaster. Yet these same players are picked to play in the top side week in and week out. Saying that there are no players to replace them is a complete cop out of an excuse. If these same players get picked for the top side next Friday it will be a farce.
 
Its not that there are no players to replace them, its the tier 2 cap.

Just to get Brooks into the side we have to apply for a special exemption, meaning we have to show extraordinary circumstances to prove we need him.

You can't just do that another 6 times to replace half a team.

Yes I agree, Parra aren't bottom of the barrel for no reason. Manly might have done us in last week but it wasn't all one-way traffic, a lot of opportune bounces for the Sea Eagles. Parra on the other hand had nothing against them except for jagging a try in the last 5 mins.

Me too,Parra played all over Manly for the first 20 minutes until Manly jagged a length of the field try.
George Rose on the sunday footy show said he felt sorry for Parra because they played quite well and the score line was not a true indication of the 2 teams
Some people on this forum comment without watching the games,we were terrible,no effort at all,Parra were quite good and against most other teams would have been up 18 - 0.
If Manly were not so well drilled in defence Parra would have been out of sight,we are no where near well drilled in defence,and if Parra throw at us what they threw at Manly we will crack and crack often,I am real worried about this one..
