too small , and not strong enough for ist grade….whats mckinnons go .....he is not attacking the football and is jogging it up .....

The thing with Fulton is that he needs the rest of the pack to have a go and they didnt tonight. Ellis and Woods were good and Fafita had his moments but goes missing in our own half.

Liam had a very bad night

We will not win anything with Marshall kicking!
If you were Mitch Brown or Beau Ryan you would of spent the off season learning how to kick goals

is mitch brown injured ? im still stunned as to why mr sheens would pick a 30 year old who hasnt been in ist grade for a season and a half…..

Word.

What has happened to him? He has thrown his text book tackling technique out the window. He needs to get a few lessons off his mate Bryce.

he should go to the ESL where he is more to their standard …..my game plan agaisnt the tigers would be run my big forwards at him all night ......

Yeah Fulton was poor. But he always comes back with a great game after a poor one.

Thats not want we want. We need consistency each week.

Agreed. It's just how he manages to keep his spot. He'll make 50 tackles and score two tries next week.

Fulton had an off night and after a season of consistency you are all ready to shaft him to state cup? He will be back and he will work harder than anyone this week. If you are going to peg him on one game, give yourself an uppercut. Even consistent players have a Barry once in a while.

In regards to Mitch Brown: he was fit but was not selected, I will not reveal why publicly. Happy to privately answer questions though.

Fulton worked hard all night. He made mistakes but the more you put yourself in the mix, the likelihood of making mistakes will become more prominent. To write off a player who is such a valuable defender and generates play with the ball is woeful. Yeah he had a bad game, but those who want to hook him, give yourselves an uppercut.

Before we start blaming Fulton Lets have a look at our kicking game . Too many times Dogs were starting from 22 and getting field position at end of sixes . They in return put great pressure on our back three and got numerous repeat sets , With our attacking kicks much prefer Farah taking than Benji . Our kick chase was pretty bad . Goal kicking If I was Sheens I would of said to Benji goal kicking of 75% plus . Would of started game with Payten and brought the youth on once we had set a platform . Don't get my wrong dogs played really solid ,but we did not take our chances and looked very disjointed for a team with basically same side from last year .Disappointing but only first game we need to hit back against Warriors but they will be out for revenge after last years touch up .

:roll 1 loss

that is All…..

I get that, Geo. But that doesn't mean we have to be happy with it, or be non chalant about our performance.

If we miss the top four by a point it's games like this that hurt. We're not panicking… just disappointed.

I think farah was invisible. Contributed nothing, putting more pressure on Marshall. Marshall needs him to take some of the load, otherwise he'll try too hard and things won't work. Fulton was off as well. Lote, Lawrence and lui were great as ayshford and utai was good without being spectacular.
