Weather

The hill might be dangerous,(slippery- people falling) and with them selling out the game….could be an interesting arvo.

Is it just me or is anybody else worried that this weather will keep a few thousand supporters out?? (if it does hopefully they're all Sharks )
I hope it doesn't because rain, hail or shine a packed Leichhardt Hill as well as the packed stands just looks amazing!! I am so excited! This time tomorrow a lot of us will be getting ready for the game!!! Go the Tigers!!!!

Yes could be very interesting on the hill, am worried this weather will suit the Sharks but we should still get the cash.

Can anyone give us a current update of the weather at Leichhardt? I live 2 hours south of Sydney and it doesnt look good. Just wondering whether if I should bring the kids or drop them of at my mums!

benji#6, I live about 10 minutes from Leichhardt. Though it's pretty wet, it's not raining and there is actually some blue sky appearing. The forecast is for a possible afternoon shower and rain in the evening, but at the moment things look decent-ish so fingers crossed!

Yeah but as a 6 year old you MUST see a packed house at Leichhardt

I agree, I had the option to have my 2 girls looked after by my mum but opted out. :crazy

I was hoping by suggesting that you leave yours at home there would be an extra seat for me!

Honestly…..All the fun parks in the world couldn't bring the same joy to a child who is screaming their lungs out supporting their team! benji#6, Bring them...but stand on the hill (Save the seats for me!) :stuck_out_tongue:

My cousin who is approx 5 mins from LO telling me its half half…no rain yet and maybe even starting to clear a little bit but still cloudy...fingers crossed

It's sunny and steamy at the moment folks. wear shorts, bring a raincoat. Looking good at the moment, chance of shower in the afternoon, rain developing this evening.

Considering how wet the ground will be, does anyone know if those low-slung beach chairs are allowed to be brought into the ground?

Bring sunscreen it is a brilliant day for footy and the ground looks fine for some slick rugby league

The sun is out. But I can see a huge muddy patch in front of me near 50m line from the hill. Hope the drainage has done its job
