Week 1 of the finals should look like this

so next fri
titans vs roosters 7.30(skilled park)
sat night tigers vs warriors(sfs) 6.30
sat night penrith vs manly(cua) 8.30
sun 3.00 dragons vs canberra
lets see if im right would love to be wrong and have us in 2nd so go the sharkies
 
if that happens, i would love to be 3rd coz then we verse manly, i dont like the sound of that TBH. I would rather verse Warriors than Manly regardless of their position on the ladder.
 
We could still finish 2nd. I wont be surprsied if Cronulla beat Penrith. Penrith have Civoneceva and I think their halfback out!
 
I'm actually a little worried now.

Penrith are almost certainties to beat the Sharks playing at CUA. This will make us 3rd.

Now because the Warriors and Roosters are on equal +/- The result of the Roosters (Vs Cowboys) game will be of real importance to us. If the Roosters lose or win by a smaller margin then the Warriors (Vs Eels) then they will finish 6th.

That means Week 1 of the finals is TIGERS Vs ROOSTERS at the SFS!!!!!
 
Also who is to say the Warriors will definately beat the Eels @ Parra Stadium?

Agreed Warriors are no sure things against Parra and there is a strong possibility we will get Manly 3 v 6

but this time round we get manly without stewart and rodney. Watmough looks like hes on his last legs if they lose watmough manly are gone.
 
Be a sweet feeling to knock out Manly. I just hope we get some troops back on board. For us to get a week off finishing 3rd it would only take up upset in the 1v8 & 2v7 games, which is a high possibility.
 
I dont wanna meet Canberra in week one….while they looked a little shaky at times last night (didnt watch it all) theyve won 8 from their last 9 and are on a roll...let the drags deal with em

stupid thing about the McIntyre finals system is that even if we beat manly we don't necessarily knock them out. if 7 and 8 get beat, Manly will survive even if we flog them. It's why I hate the McIntyre system.

Agreed, if the Sharks turn up to play they could well beat Penriff.

well how many teams should be knocked out of the finals after week 1?
 
i'm most confident playing the warriors or canberra at the sfs. (i know canberra have hit a purple patch but i think we can get up)
im a bit worried about manly and heaps worried about the roosters.
