Channel nine's friday night footy policy guarentees (99% of the time) that at least 1 of the 3 qld teams play on fridays (and its mostly Brisbane & the GC).

Makes a big difference having very regular periods between games & little short turnarounds.

So as you can tell… I don't care really...

The thing that is the most annoying is they have the have the rights to both games and should show both live. They have digital channels at there dispense. All matches should be shown live and if a station decides to not show a match live they should lose there rights and give it to a channel that will show live football.

Channel nine dont deserve the television rights at all, when they telecast the footy on a sunday afternoon or friday night all you do is watch the advertisements. Its a joke, they are a complete and utter joke channel nine, not sure whom will get the role next year though, hopefully its not channel nine, i believe if you pay for tv then you shouldbe able to watch the channel none games advertisment free on foxtel or austar, the person who negiotaites the dela with whatever channel gets the rights this time should be in a much better posiiton to do something better than the deal they are dishing up at the moment, its a farce and absolute joke. Dont like the commentators on channel nine either.

Its because when the game finishes they want it to immediately flow onto channel 9 news.

They do the same thing for primetime tv shows, notice how there are no end credits now and very rarely any ads at the end of a show? Its so viewers dont switch off in between shows.

If the game was live at 4pm, the game would finish around 5.45pm which gives the viewers the chance to switch to another channel before the news starts.

If the game started at 4.15pm with a view of it finishing at 6pm, it could potentially disrupt the schedule if there are many stoppages or if there is golden point.

Games in High Def. I cannot stress it enough.

The difference between the fox games on Sports HD and Channel Nine is EMBARRASSINGLY massive.
