The real strength for Wenty is in Joudo, Mullaney and Wehbe. All smart footballers.

Mullaney is obviously a defensive target in the front line and I would imagine Horo will be his shadow.

Interesting contest no doubt

Thanks Smeg, I either miss heard the call putting the little one to bed or he was put on report but wasn't charged.

wow the same team as last week…..first time ive seen this all year. Growing in confidence they will give this an almighty shake this weekend.

How's Ava Seumanufagai been going? I saw he was one of the young props Sheens mentioned in the Jack Buchanan press release.

He has been a rock throughout the season and really progressing as a player in terms of fitness and impact.

With his size, nouse for the game and being only a year out of NYC the future bodes well if he can keep moving forward.

A humble and straight forward guy as well

Thanks Smeg.

Strong looking side for balmain and i reckon they will be too strong for wenty if they get their execution right.

As I said when we played them in the second last round Wenty remind me in many ways of the BRET 2009 team. Noth alot of name players but a hell of alot of heart and dedication to the task. They should have beaten the Dogs last week

Don't get to see many of these games but I notice the 2 guys always being pushed for first grade inclusion (Chisolm/Grant) don't make the team.
Anyone have any insights into this?

Grant was still carrying a shoulder injury and frankly Hitchcox has to be in the side and his aggression, strength and speed place him in front of Grant as a package for mine.

Chisolm is a very good player but again Humble offers more across the board, especially in terms of consistency and defence.

That's interesting , smeg.
Hitchcox speed equivalent to Grant?
Looks like we have some speed both here and in NYC - be good to see some in first grade.
Think Chisolm must have something though if Manly want him.

Maybe half a yard slower over the length but football speed I would call almost identical. Just my opinion.

Dont get me wrong, I rate Chisolm highly but we have alot of good players in squad. Balance wise I think that is why he is on the bench.

Young Port is also a special player in the making who has just freakish talent but right now finds himself on the bench
