No Pat Richards ,Woods in the second row ,Lawrence at lock ,no Halatau , Fulton not in the starting line up and Sironen playing in the centres

Why does halatau automatically get selected? BMM, Sue, Fulton, Paterson, Sirro all ahead of him.

I think halatau is a good back-up but he doesn't make the top 17 imo.

Totally disagree with Moltzen at fullback. He's scared of the high ball and his defence is weak.

Add to that , he is injury prone and has not played with much guts over the past 2-3 years.

He does have a few positives but they are way out weighed with the negatives.

The sooner he is gone the better.

PS: if he did play next year…..centre is his best position ATM.

Blake Austin could also be a goer at fullback.

Richards was tried at center in the UK and it was a disaster, the coach was lambasted on a weekly basis till he ended the experiment and put him back on the wing. I would have him in the team, but only on the wing.

Rudolph in the 1st grade team? He was battling to keep his spot in the 20's a while ago. No thanks.

I think picking the team is really tough but I'll have a go.

1 Tedesco - I just think he is the best option and he may turn into a really good player.
2\. Richards - no idea how he will go now but my assumption is that he will be safe.
3\. Simona - has to be in the team. He looks dangerous all the time.
4\. Lawrence - under real pressure.
5\. Nofoaluma - looks like he will always score the tries that are on offer.
6\. Sironen - we need him to be a weapon. I have no idea where to play him but I figure at 6 he gives us some increased grunt.
7\. Brooks - lets see how he goes.

8\. Woods - easy choice.
9\. Farah - easy choice.
10\. Galloway - easy choice.
11\. Fulton - under pressure.
12\. BMM - starting to look good.
13\. Blair - has to play up the middle as a 3rd prop.

14 Seumanufangai - easy choice.
15\. Taupau - I don't know how good he is but I think we need 2 props on the bench plus Sue.
16\. Sue - at lock.
17\. Halatau - replace the second rowers and gives Farah a break running out of dummy half.

Left out:-
Koroibete - I think he should be in the team because he can score tries all the time but I don't know who to drop.
Moses - give him some time.
Austin - I think he will get some chances.

I think we need to start with the forwards being able to get a roll on and stop the opposition getting a roll on. I think our backs look good.

I have no idea how well our spine will go. Will Robbie make the right play and not try and do it all himself ? Will Brooks step up ? Will Moses end up playing firsts ? How will Austin go ?Will Tedesco kick on at fullback ? I think Sironen will do well at 6 however I'm not sure if he has any kicking game at all which might be a problem.

I like the starting 13.I just dont like the thought of Fulton and Halatau on the bench.You cant have both in my opinion on the bench they are too light and lack the required impact.So I say tapau at 16 and Halatau as 18th man.Like how there is no Anasta sighting.Wouldnt mind seeing a spot for Sirro in the backrow instead of 5/8 as thats where his future lies.

I just can't fit Lawrence in.
I know most people wont like Moltzen being there but he is better then Anasta and was the only one who seemed dangerous in the opp 20\. His running is his best asset.

Galloway and Tapau to come on and provide impact up from same for BMM and Patterson in the backrow.

Austin and Anasta to back up the halves
I don't think we can have Fulton, Sue and Halatau in the same line up.
Bell, Buchanan and Gavet back up Front Row.

Don't give me this crock of shit 'he's not big enough'….Look at young Keary from Souffs he's not big at all by footy terms but was selected based on skill and ability and he's killing it in top grade.

Also if you do want to argue that well there's still another 7 months until March 2014 and much muscle matter and physique toning can be gained in between then....Anything beats having the myth Anasta at 6 if we wanna go down that path we may as well write 2014 off now and save ourselves the heartbreak.
