More important than his coaching credential, Potter seems like a genuinely decent sort of bloke. To work at a broke club for 5 months for no pay or prospect of financial reward speaks volumes about his character.

… True - and to be relatively successful during that time hopefully speaks volumes about his ability too!

our main 2 players: robbie and benji in the all stars game, unfortunately i didnt see much difference. could be wrong but im really thinking this is gonna be a looooonngggg season for us

It's great to read these stories about Mick Potter. I always had respect for his as a player because he put in 100% every match I saw him play. It's really nice to know that he is a good person as well. I think he'll have a great influence on a lot of the younger players, backs and forwards, and I believe he is an excellent appointment for the club.
