Just noticed in the photo of Wests players behind the group they've spelt Peter Dimond's name incorrectly. Not a big deal but it's not hard to get these things right and it shows respect.

It is a big deal - the guy played at every level of the game and was named in the Wests Magpies Team of the Century. Pretty poor form to get his name wrong.

I loved him as a player and always made it my business as a kid to run on the ground at Pratten Park after a game and pat him on the back. I hope you do and give them a kick where they deserve it,i come from the Balmain side of the club but nothing annoys me more than when players names are not spelt correctly by officials from our club.It is inexcusable

As much as I and many others would Love to see the Magpies name back, it aint gonna happen, that bridge has been closed.

Anyway, to actually respond to your post. For the longest time I have had no issue with the Magpies being the reserve grade side and actually voiced my support on the topic.

Recently I have changed my opinion on this as I still don't have a preference on the topic but it appears that the majority of supporters would like to see the branding unified.
