Western Sydney Wanderers

The RBB raised almost $15,000 for the Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal on Sundays match. A good effort by the guys and girls.

That is a good effort. But it is probably offset by the thousands of dollars worth of damage that the Wanderers fans caused to the footy stadium last season with the busted seats and stuff.

Any truth to these Crystal Palace rumours and Popovic

Thought some of the Wanderers fans may have heard something

Unlikely. A British paper mentioned him as one of 3 other possibilities if Tony Pulis doesn't accept the job.

Hard to see an EPL club choosing someone who hasn't managed in the UK/Continental Europe before.

I thought the Roars 4-0 demolition of Sydney FC meant something

Just meant that Sydney are woeful

Was my anniversary tonight so I missed the game. Without Del Piero it was always going to be a tough ask.

Happy Anniversary CB

Whenever you have a mob, the police will zone in on them.
This RBB create great atmosphere at the game through their chanting, singing etc…however it is not a stretch to assume that they are acting with only a couple of people leading the charge for the whole group. If these leaders are sensible then you shouldnt have too many worries (ala the Barmy Army). But if one or more rat bags get amongst this leadership group then they could easily whip the crowd, who are basically sheep, into a frenzy as we have seen happen many times over the years all around the world at soccer games.
The coppers sound like they are being heavy handed, but this preventative strategy may well aid the profile of groups such as the RBB into the future.

I'm back from my holiday in Europe suffering from jet lag and the flu and cannot wait for the game tomorrow night against the Victory.

The game following week is the big game Peaches

Better save some ROAR for that one

If you wear a bum bag or tracksuit pants with snap buttons on the side you deserve to have your head caved in by a night stick

It's an away game so I won't be able to make it. It does look like early on it could be a Wanderers and Roar final. They're the two teams looking the best with the most to improve on.

That's just an immature and pathetic post.

Yeah I'm looking forward to that. SBS does a good job with the football broadcasts usually.

A 1-0 win over the Victory. It looked a draw for sure until that goal came out of nowhere.

Yet another game I've been to played in so so much rain. I was absolutely soaked by the end of it.

Was it raining Peaches? Lol…

I can't believe the rain stopped at half time and then fired up again just as the players took the field... A great atmosphere and crowd considering the weather.

Why I didn't invest in a poncho or a jacket I'll never know. I got drenched but the boys got the job done.

Now if Santa could only learn how to finish a one on one with the keeper we'll be set.

Well I didn't because I think they look stupid. Then I felt really stupid and wet by the end of the match. Hahaha

And we can only hope he does. Tom Juric will be out for a couple of months so we need Santalab to find the net regularly in that time.
