Western Sydney Wanderers

It was a disappointing 1-1 draw yesterday. That's 2 draws in 2 weeks against teams down near the bottom. Points we may rue towards the end of the season.

I had a great away trip to Newcastle yesterday and my arms aren't sore despite waving a flag all game.

didnt watch the game…the goal was special tho...pinball stuff

Haha. I guess it was something that we don't see so often. Like Gus says about the second kick being dangerous, so can a second cross/header. Defenders lose structure in those situations so I guess the principle is the same.

It doesn't matter if it's a Tigers game or Wanderers game, bloody Monday night games suck.

Until you win

A win helps but the overall gameday experience isn't the same. Some can't make it due to work commitments and the pre-match drinks are much quieter and less populous.

Are you going to this one Peaches?

Yeah mate I was there. And I was very thankful that this game turned out to be a cracker after waiting all weekend for it.

A big game today in Melbourne against the Victory. I was keen to head down for it and a day at the cricket the next day but my mates decided they wanted to go to North America in July instead haha

It should be a great game

This was me by the way

Deplorable officiating in today's game. Numerous penalties missed for both teams. Some very soft yellow cards and the Victory grab a late equalizer.

Apparently before game, about 50 Victory fans turned up at a pub about 80 Wanderers fans were at and there was a fracas. Disappointing but not surprised to hear that with the issues that are happening with the club and it's supporters down there.

Was a good game to head down for, just a shame about the result. The pregame rubbish was deplorable though, from what I heard the Victory fans showed up and started throwing flares, bungers, chairs and whatever else they could get their hands on through the glass windows at the pub the Wanderers fans were drinking at, the police took forever to show up and shut it all down.

You went down there? I was keen to but my mates had other things planned from a while ago. Had to watch it at a local club.

Yeah I heard the same about the pregame incident. The Northern Terrace with all their issues you would think would avoid making trouble. Clearly they aren't the brightest.

Victard fans are scum, particularly those wannabe ultras in the Horda… Perhaps the FC fans should have stabbed a few more of them when they were last up here.
