Western Sydney Wanderers

I just checked the records, Adelaide have qualified top of their group on 3 separate occasions (2008, 2010 and 2012). None of the other A-League clubs have done so.

It seems outside Adelaide, we are the only ones to have any sort of success. That's actually pretty impressive from them.

Wanderers vs Roar in Brisbane for the big one. Unfortunately I have a 11am game that day so I won't be able to make it.

From a Wanderers perspective you won't be missing anything good Peaches

2-1 Roar

Haha it should be a great match. I expect over 10,000 traveling Wanderers fans so there should be a great atmosphere too.

Bridge is out injured meaning more minutes got either Santalab, Haliti or Appiah-Kubi.

I think we can steal it. Shinji is in good form and Juric is fit. Those two players are key to the Wanderers.

Peaches the idea is to win it , not steal it

You Westies are all the same  (joking)

Hope you blokes have brought your tissues

Need I say more

Great game though , Wanderers just ran out of legs due to their Asian commitments in my opinion

Credit to the roar but we struggled to win a free kick, not to mention the penalty that wasn't called. That whole match will take a while to get over.

Sorry Peaches but your goal was due to Spiranovic shoving Broich in the back

A couple of your blokes were lucky not to get red cards

But I'll concede the best team for probably 65 minutes of regular time lost

That wasn't a shove. That was jostling for position like what happens in every single corner.

That's a tough one to stomach and it will be take a lot longer than last year to get over. NTS going down was certainly a turning point.

You're not wrong. La Rocca going into the backline and we lost the midfield afterwards. That was probably his best match in a Wanderers jersey.

It's just ouch. I don't know how to describe it. It hurts worse then losing the origin has the last few years.

Bridesmaids again… As usual, Brisbane were classy until the end and never panicked.

Did any Wanderers player walk off that pitch WITHOUT a yellow card?
