@LaT said:They did charity stuff and a fan BBQ? Sorry, but hard to name a club in the country that doesn't.
And those things are reported in the press. In fact the press are feeding the hype. Its not just showing the bad stories.
@Yossarian said:I agree with CB. Sorry Allan but that all sounds like horse manure to me - none of it makes much sense.
Anyway as far as this week is concerned - go the Mariners!!!
@Cultured Bogan said:I'm on the Mariners bandwagon. Most consistent side over the last three years, a premiership is deserved. Either way the match up is a dream for the FFA.

I can tell you it's not horse manure. A bloke was banned for 5 years because they matched a CT surveillance camera with footage from the Hatomoto at a game. He was a fool who we don't need around the club but nonetheless that's why they hide their faces.
I struggled to believe it myself until I saw it in person and someone taping us.

So by your own words the guy was an idiot who deserved to be punted? To me it's simple - if you don't plan to do something illegal then you've got nothing to be worried about. If people want to light flares or punch on with people then I've got no time or sympathy for them. Someone covering their face indicates to me that they're planning to do something that will subsequently attract police attention.
Amazingly the other teams in the competition seem to be able to support their team without a lot of this crap.
