The only way that could work with interchanges would be to have Benji moving to 9 at some point with Doueihi going to 5/8. That way there wouldn't need to be Doueihi plus a utility hooker on the bench.

I think this works well as once twal goes if we make a double change and bring on Taylor to make up the defence as both twal and Taylor are probably are best defenders...also we need the extra punch we get with Aloiai in the middle as the opening stanza is often very ruff...as for Clarke and Hutu I believe the are good depth options for twal and Et wouldn’t have more then 2 of them in the team as I believe we need Musgrove, mikaele and Aloiai to add punch

Really Taylor to hooker has never worked..If that was the plan you would think he would have spent some time there during the trials..he spent zero..in case of injury you might consider it for about a millisecond then do something else..

But the defensive issues he's always had will leak points against better teams.

I think you're right, but he was dropped last year... and Madge is big on defence.
I thought Jennings had a solid game - and a big body like him running off BJ would be lethal (as was Rapana).

I dont think Jennings is overly big or lethal.
Nofo is a definitely a better runner but much smaller in height.

I think BJ x Nofo will be the pairing and I'm looking forward to seeing it carve up.

Just hope Nofos defensive issues are ceased.
