We have a young team, and if we get a number of high profile teams in a row and lose all our early games then it may be difficult to lift the boys.
I think it is very relelvant.

What are your expectations for 2014 Knuckles ??
10th -13th for me , this is still part of the transition Brooks will have some good days , but he will have some bad as well
And we don't have a five eight in place either

**Luke Portese got involved last off season but it must have been a short term contract.**
No word on who will be doing what, I'd imagine Kidwell will be doing a good deal with our defense. The comments on Kidwell working with strike players in attack is probably about developing impact forwards such as BMM etc.
I'd still like to know if we are heading down the path of a halves coach for Brooks/Moses and maybe Sirro.
He was here all year.
Not sure on Payten as D coach….he has been 'taught' by Simmons

He always had a good defensive technique himself though. Time will tell anyway. But at least the club has been more proactive than it has been in some time with the changes they are making.

I just got the impression he spent a fair bit of the year over seas and working on other projects?
Either way I am glad we have him back.

I'm hoping that _all_ the coaches will be working on improving our defence. It has been our achilles heel for many years and it needs to be the major focus of this overhaul, imo. Our defensive structure (or lack of) is so far behind the likes of Easts, Manly, Souths and Melbourne it's not funny. You wouldn't think a 4-0 scoreline in a game of Rugby League would make for an exciting time, but I found watching the Roosters and Manly play and defend, like they did the other night, inspirational!
I really hope our style of play is dramatically changed, to the point where we become better known as a team that other sides struggle to score against than a team that produces flashy attacking plays, sporadically, throughout a season. I know this will probably take some time to turn around - I just hope that Potter and co have it in their immediate sights to begin the process.

Boring…..... Robotic crap, we need to play our attacking style like we did when we had souths baffled at 18-0 but with defence skills raised by 80%
