Wests Tigers announce trial match squads

Not too concerned about BMM, Buchanan and Ava going to Alice Springs. I'm confident these blokes will see plenty of FG this year.

Same here. My make would be that Potter knows their games well enough, and would like to see how Gavet and the new buys go as part of his preferred pack.

Yeah I know we are all excited , but if a player isn't named there is no need to panic or not named in the squad you think they should its OK

Are you sure? I was about to tear up my membership when I saw no Fults. I guess I'll wait until we lose a game.

also surprised not to see luani with farah.. im guessing halatau is the back up hooker for us this year?

if brooks and fulton are injured.. wish them a speedy recovery.

bmm/ava/buchanan all deserve to be ahead of gavet but maybe potter wants to see gavet with the top squad. we have a massive depth in the forwards this year.. they will all have to push their weight this year.

hope there is not much to read re coaching preferences in the two teams named.

i dont think so…. saw luani training at hooker quite a lot, and none of dene in the videos. (i know it's only a snippet but still)

and i'd much prefer luani than halatau at hooker personally, he was quite good last year. although compared to masada that's not too hard

I see what your saying, my thoughts are that Halutau will be a permanent utility bench spot. Probably will be primarily playing as lock or back row, or if Farah needs a break at hooker for whatever reason. When Farah has Origin duties i'm thinking they will give the 9 jersey to Luani but he will share the workload with Halutau from the bench.

would fulton be a better alternative than halatau? haven't seen too much of either at hooker to be sure.

if liams better then that makes halatau very far down the pecking order; farah, luani, fulton, halatau.
