That’s a pretty good comparison. if I had a dollar for every time someone created a thread predicting the club had turned itself around after a good win, only for everything to come crashing down the next week, I’d be happily retired. It does give off problem gambler vibes. Have a small win, and think the jackpot is next, only to do all your cash. The best way I can describe Wests Tigers is a poker machine. Keeps you interested with a few small wins here and there. Overall you lose and you know it but there is a small chance of a jackpot (2005).
Any better analogies?
Nope pokies would smash us. The NSW law is 87% RTP, those odds are way better than the Wests Tigers “Return To Punter”. Imagine if every time you watched us play we won 87% of our games. That’s a pretty good comparison. if I had a dollar for every time someone created a thread predicting the club had turned itself around after a good win, only for everything to come crashing down the next week, I’d be happily retired. It doesn't mean you win 87% of the time, it means 87 cents in the dollar is returned to the player. If you won 87% of the time, you'd give up your day job.Nope pokies would smash us. 💦 💦💦💦, sorry I got to excited.
Correct, it’s a myth, the odds diminish as you play, and it’s over the lifetime of the machine so you would have to be the same player on the same machine for it’s lifetime. But it is 87% return to player. The best bet at a casino is red or black on the pokies after you finally have a win on a Pokie the red or black is 2/1 and paid at that. No casino tax.It doesn't mean you win 87% of the time, it means 87 cents in the dollar is returned to the player. If you won 87% of the time, you'd give up your day job.
I'd rather not give any of my money away.Correct, it’s a myth, the odds diminish as you play, and it’s over the lifetime of the machine so you would have to be the same player on the same machine for it’s lifetime. There is a myth with blackjack that it is in the punters favour by .5% and not the dealer and that’s the case when you play with one dealer and one deck only. If you learn to play mathematically and can count cards you can kill it at home games. But the casino stacks the deck to six so good luck. Best to learn poker and read people and then play on the $5 - $10 tables late Friday and Saturday nights.
In business its""you have to spend money to make money""you cant take it with you...I'd rather not give any of my money away.
The best odds is the money that stays in your account 🤔
That's right, you spend money on something worthwhile that want.In business its""you have to spend money to make money""you cant take it with you...
As I said mate "in business" so if your not business minded you may as well piss it up against a wall...many a person has started out with almost nothing and ended up very well financially...WTs do well financially but waste it when it comes to player and coach investment...Cleary.Madge ring a bell...That's right, you spend money on something worthwhile that want.
The WT provide nilsky.
Yeh I opened the thread not knowing its five years old.... Until I saw the 2nd.post of GeosI opened up this topic and saw Geo's post.
Straight away I thought he was posting. His analogy was really good so i gave him a 😍
Good night big fella.
My take on following this team is:
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.

In that case, we should be the smartest people on the planet 🤔

Exactly what I did.Yeh I opened the thread not knowing its five years old.... Until I saw the 2nd.post of Geos
At the moment were like a dead fish in the sun... Stink worse and worse
And as a kid you see an ice cream coming soon called the 'Adam Blair' and you recall it being really good , but went it finally comes out , it's average and you paid way too much for it and your kind of glad when it's discontinued. It’s like the Mr Whippy truck to a 6 year old, gets you excited once a week, but it’s really just a hunk of junk full of soft crap that melts as soon as any heat is applied. Makes you a bit sick but you go back again 7 days later. Bloke driving the thing looks dodgy as too.
I did the same when I seen Geo's post.I opened up this topic and saw Geo's post.
