Perosnally I liked the 5 captains model as I think they each brought different things to the role and the team and it put more pressure on them all to stand up. Off field probably Lawrence but onfield Packer

A captain needs to be someone who leads with their actions, someone which his team mates respect, a clubman and keeps a cool head under pressure.

Lawrence or Brooks for captain in 2019, probably Lawrence though, I think being captain would be too much for Brooksy.

If its Lawrence, I hope the Club back him for an early fine in a circumstance the refs deserve a spray… set the Cameron Smith precedent, have the cheats with the whistle thinking you will rock up amicable most of the time and often, but if they screw the pooch you will be breathing fire.

If he is going to play the nice guy he has to be in constant conversation... let em know if he is coming in hot and animated then they have messed up.
