So if everyones gunner have a COE then we lose any advantage we might have had
and are back to where we are now>?

Fantastic

Well not exactly. Before we were well behind, at least now we’ll be on an equal footing in terms of facilities.

Were the facilities a major problem?

Did you see the old facilities?

Not personally, pictures though.
At the end of the day we are lacking in the matters of soft science over weight/recovery rooms.
Is it possible that upgraded facilities will not yield results as hoped?

100% it is possible.

So is it something we should be excited about?

Having something at that level and branded Wests Tigers is definitely something to be excited about, something that helps us sign players is something to be excited, having something that can be used as a 1st step in building our identity is something to be excited about.

Will this solve all our problems? No, but it is something the club can be proud of.

Possibly but colour me sceptical. Proof will be in the pudding.

Possibly what?

This is a step in the right direction. Next is building our own stadium. Some of these big talking Tigers/Wests fans who love being in the news can actually put some of their money up for a change and contribute to the club instead of just getting free publicity.

Why would you own your own stadium? Do you have any idea how much it costs and how many tickets you need to sell?

How many clubs own their own stadium?

Penrith?

Are they the only one?

Sharks are the only club that owns their ground.

Gee, next March is not that far away to ready on time?

The CoE in itself is not going to work the miracles, it’s the people we have who need to step up . Gosh , every organisation has a CoE, even Woolworths has a CoE.

Any truth to the rumour that Tontine has bought the naming rights ......

Highly likely as many of our players are as soft as pillows.

SFS is approx $700M. You can do the maths.

Who are these people that can afford to fund a stadium?

Triguboff ain't a leech like Elias or Blocker so it doesn't directly answer your question but he has literally made his billions off building.

Elias wants equity before helping the club.

Elias and Wests Tigers should not be spoken about in the same sentence.

Elias is only interested in helping himself. I want nothing to do with him other than he was once a great player for Balmain.

Woolworths is a very successful business, the supermarkets alone do $42B revenues per year and employee nearly a quarter of a million people.

Maths doesn't tend to be a strong point on here.

Definitely. Both were a couple of years older than me, with Benny living over and just down the hill from my place and I first met John when introduced as still a teen at the Wiley Park Hotel. I won't elaborate, though John was shady even back then. Still, he probably wouldn't have trusted back door as far as he could throw him either.
