I am positive we will be playing @ the s.f.s as was written in the rugby league week, also i know how much everyone likes leichhardt oval but i am positive the money will come first, which they wont ignore.

Financially

I knew you meant financially. In light of what Knuckles was saying about having no agreement with the SFS, it must be a pretty lucrative deal, thought you may have had some insight.

I asked this in another thread and I don't think anyone answered, but what is the payment structure with the SFS when we play games there? If we held finals there it would be anymore lucrative than the 4 games we play there?

I'm warming to Lillyfield Rectangle Idea… I guess it also depends on our opposition

Not going to happen sorry Masterchief, the SFS will be the place to be.

Can we have any more information about how financially beneficial it is to us? Or are we just spitballing here?

It's about percentage cuts and lump sum payment.

I am not giving any details until and if I get the ok from the chap who gave me the info. Already probably in the wrong for posting anything here

that's what Humphries and the NRL are negotiating now i would say. I will very shocked if it's not at the SFS. I love Leichhardt but if it's going to be 50/50 supporters at Leichhardt because of the members from BOTH clubs preference, i would rather go to the SFS and outnumber either the Roosters or Manly supporters (becuase of the larger base). So ironically i think even againt the roosters the home advantage would be greater at the SFS.

ON MMM they said that the SFS Contract with the Tigers states that they must hve the first final at the SFS.

Thats either BS or Humphries was leading everyone on after last weeks game

How do you get 50/50 at LO and more of us at SFS
What you say makes no sense

He's probably referring to the Pre-Sale for both Clubs Members pretty much locking up the majority of the tickets. As they are open to both clubs, he presummes 50/50 even spread. Considering we have 7k members, and pressuming the other club we play has similar, it only leaves a few tickets left at Leichhardt.

At the SFS, he believes we will out number them after the pre-sale closes as we have a larger fan base to purchase the extra seats…

Bingo…

no other club has more bandwagonners then us.

The diference between us and the roosters in crowd averages is a mere 2000

Playing at their home, in their area, would easily negate a negligible 2k.
Pure speculation and nothing else….

7000 members now?
Last I heard it was 5000 odd

Wests Tigers bandwagon data would be severely outdated - the wheel on the wagon has only just been replaced after five long years…

Just going on 2005 - we had 24,000 approx to cowboys game who were mostly tigers supporters and 34,000 to the brisbane game again mainly tigers supporters.

If we play it at SFS we can approx expect around 24,000 tigers supporters and about 14,000 roosters. If we play it at Leichhart you can still expect at least 7,000 or 8,000 roosters supporters but you'll only fit 12,000 tigers supporters. see where i'm going with this. And the split could be worst.

Icon....you cannot compare against teams from another state.
There is nothing comparable in our history....
One game at the venue in question, against another sydney team who however had a weeks advance on tix.
