Wests Tigers Coaches

Are you his agent?
He couldn't attract players to come to the Tigers to play WITH him, Why would they suddenly want to play FOR him?

Just a thought he could create good player harmony. Brad Alexander said today from speaking with benji he think he has something in coaching. One to watch

What i find interesting is teams like penriff, cronulla and cows play football that is closely related to WT style of 2005. Quick play the balls, lots of work around the dummy half, slick ball movement in the backs which is more about letting the ball do the work rather than the constant use of decoys. Those 3 teams also have mobile skillful packs ( ala WT 2005 ) rather than lumbering plodders. At the moment we don't have the talent in our roster to even attempt that style of play.
I agree; but did like the mobility I saw in our youngsters on the weekend. We need to add a bit of flair in halves as we go forward and we will be on the right trajectory.

Moses has zero interest in returning to the Tigers
Don't want moses anywhere near the West's tiger's, remember when Ivan released moses, tiger's played against souths a chanel 9 match live, first roughly 20 minutes into the game moses passed the ball over the whole backlines heads and into the crowd on a couple of occasions for memory and the whole team turned and looked at moses wondering what was happening, moses was on his knees with his hand holding his head it was bloody embarrassing, not sure before all that there was also a kick down field last tackle it was like a penalty kick for touch moses forced ivan and the tigers to release him and the rest is history for the eels, after that game can't forgive for throwing a game live on tv, moses got exactly what he wanted a release asap

Former Wests Tigers player Joel Caine has urged the club to look beyond Tim Sheens as their new coach in favour of a far more radical appointment, as rumours continue to swirl about the old mentor potentially wanting to take over in the hot seat again.
Caine claimed it was “farcical” to expect the man, who helped guide the club to their maiden premiership, to come in and revitalise a team which is currently anchored to the bottom of the ladder.1657600972875.png

“I’m a big fan of Tim Sheens…him coming back to the club is fantastic in the position he is currently in at the moment,” Caine stressed on SEN’s The Run Home.
He stated the Tigers would be caught trading in nostalgia, if they were to offer the head coaching position to Sheens.
“This club has been hanging onto 2005. There have been 17 premierships won in that time, or thereabouts.
“Seven prime ministers have come and gone in that time. You couldn’t even tweet about that grand final victory; Twitter wasn’t even around at the time,” he said.
Previous head coach Michael Maguire was sacked last month, which brought an end to his unsuccessful tenure at Concord.
But the Tigers’ pursuit of a new coach has been a disaster, with their top choice for the position – Cameron Ciraldo – turning them down to remain as an assistant at Penrith.
