Love this week's avatar.No idea.
The whole drug thing has obviously tarnished his career but like I said, the nrl has okayed him to coach.
That's good enough for me.
Can we sign those guys minus the clown in the middle?

The first part of that has been achieved.Average players make the best coaches
Change my mind.
🔥🤩
I think that’s a bit harsh because he had to make a call on Brooks about a month after coming into the job.Madge extended Brooks, he deserved to be sacked, he hitched his sorry arse to Brooks and lost out
If only one of the Walker Brothers came we'd still have 2 heads in the top coaching role, they are Queenslanders.Even worse, if only one said yes. Not sure if there is a shitty brother but that's the one Pascoe would land.
Do you think there are any other coaches on the market that would?I’m
Unfortunately you aren’t going to attract those players with a John Morris type coach. He‘d need 2 or 3 seasons of consistent finals before he can even make a dent in the player market imo.
Signing Satan would only create more problems in the halves selection area, I mean what are we going to do with 3 sixes.Maybe we just go out and sign Satan.
Responsible for less deaths than flanno apparently.
This is one of the most accurate posts in 200+ pages.Tragic,
I read on this forum Sheens engaged with the parents of players in the SW and no doubt the IW. A pro-active approach in terms of retaining our best talent to prevent other clubs signing the best of our youngsters. Our future depends on these young players remaining in our system.
A concentration of effort in the SW where this has been reflected in a win by our Wests HM team which has a plethora of talent. Now hopefully we will see these young men wanting to represent WTs which represents the areas from which they are drawn.
We read yesterday Sheens and Co met with journalists for lunch no doubt in part to improve the club's image in the press and perception among the public. Again a strategically pro-active solution to an on-going issue.
Sheens cut through the crap of the last 3.5 years under Maguire. While you and others on this forum were lapping up the "Madge has a plan" or "trust in Madge" slogans and planting kisses on his arse cheeks (mind you the scramble for position with Batmans Parents must have been tense) Sheens wanted him gone last year according to a post the other night. Sheens delivered as I knew he would.
None that are available to us.Do you think there are any other coaches on the market that would?

Maybe Flannigan or Wolfe. How long is a piece of string.Do you think there are any other coaches on the market that would?
I think you and many others will be surprised (myself included) about decent players joining under Morris.Maybe Flannigan or Wolfe. How long is a piece of string.
I can't see us attracting players with Morris until we start seeing an influx of talent from pathways and there is a good vibe around the place...but geez that could take 3+years.
What ever happens, I don't want us to be salary cap handicapped again.
Madge would of been hired from the sell I am finally going to turn this club into the tough mini Melbourne you've always wanted to be.
Club admin " yes 2014 premiership winning Kiwi coach come over and implement what your saying"
3 and half years later it simply never eventuated.
I'm not blaming all on madge by reports hartigan was not the right mix too.
But you cannot say madge was not given enough control he hired his two besties and was given enough autonomy to coach. Again failed.
Madge damaged our identity further and the coaching was not nrl standard.
Much prefer the direction the club is going now involving legends into coaching first grade and developing more skills into first grade squad.
Madge was on a road to no where with us
I want Maguire back. 👍Wouldn’t give CC another sniff at the job personally, prima donna
Not not saying he can't, read my history, I've had the "in morris we trust" banner up for ages.I think you and many others will be surprised (myself included) about decent players joining under Morris.
If the whispers are true, 3 players have indicated they'll like to join WT if Morris takes the coaching position. Yes, these players are currently at the sharks.
Well said mate👍Tragic,

Yeah, so what should a club do after 11 years of failure, chance their arm on someone who they don't even know if they have it at the lower levels to start with.
That's a very Wests Tigers move...
It was pretty damning that all the old boys were in the coaches box Noddy’s first game. I hadn’t even seen Sheens at a game all season when Madge was coaching.I think only the gullible would believe that Sheens didn't perform this hatchet job on a coach who has left us in a good position and took over when we were an abject mess.
The question is why did he punt Madge. My concern is that all he cares about is having a scapegoat and then getting more time.
My experience as a manager is that a common theme when you get a new job is to perform the following tasks no matter the situation:-
1. Blame the previous manager/administration for being incompetent.
2. Give yourself time to turn things around.
That is Sheens play in a nutshell.
In my experience it's also consistently BS.
Brooks deal wasn't even running out when Madge extended it, he had nearly 2 years to go, so it didn't have to be done so quick or at all. As for Moses, Cleary didn't sign Brooks over Moses, he pulled Moses contract to sign Teddy, Moses got the poos and wanted out. Thee big 3 all left, so Brooks was the last man standing and got a contractI think that’s a bit harsh because he had to make a call on Brooks about a month after coming into the job.
Cleary also re-signed him from memory over Moses.
