Information can easily be skewed & distorted from multiple sources. I highly doubt it’s a mess. Sheens is managing the process & reporting back to the board. Like any organisation, he may have asked someone with closer association to a prospect to sound them out but with his knowledge & support. Hypothetically, It may be that Danny Stapleton knows X or Warren McDonnell knows Y but in the end Sheens would interview & decide. We will know if it’s a mess as Sheens would walk away. He aint putting up with b***sh** at his age & history in the game I’ll tell you that.I know who the Pom is and he is legit. Im sure that this information that he has got is right and he is telling the truth.
The problem at the moment lies in the lines of communication within and around the club. It depends where people are hearing news from and EVERYONE is happy to talk. At the moment there is news coming from multiple sources, the board/management, Sheens, football staff and probably most importantly, player managers.
The board and Sheens at times have had different agendas and preferences on coaching candidates and Sheens has had communication with individuals without theboard and management and the board/management have had their own communication. Its a mess.
My information is from multiple sources and I stand by it. Morris, Woolfe, CC and Seibold have told the club or Sheens they will not be coaching the Tigers.
Never heard from him after he posted that stupid supposed text between braith anasta and sheens trying to undermine potter.Often wondered what happened to smoking gun?
Blew his cover and got outed? 😂Never heard from him after he posted that stupid supposed text between braith anasta and sheens trying to undermine potter.
Oh self confessed great 1, thought you were the one.
Why do people get so offended when our info providers don’t get it right. It makes this place more interesting and the more the better. Things change daily, what might be right today is wrong tomorrow.
This is a results business, so lets take a look at how recent changes have improved our results.
Does anyone think the Sheens coaching interest is a smokescreen while negotiations are taking place with other candidates?
I will add that today we probably looked the best we have in a long time. Take away the ref continuously giving them piggy backs out of their line and brooks amazing kick on 2nd and we have a great chance to win. Our juniors are not looking out of place in 1st grade. Poole, junior and matamoa will all be stars. Laurie is starting to get some form back. Brown looks great at dummy half. Our line speed and aggression yesterday was great. I didn’t think we would win another game this year but we play like that and we will jag a few. This is a results business, so lets take a look at how recent changes have improved our results.
We played Manly, Bulldogs, Warriors and Eels under Maguires coaching. We won 2 of those games. We scored 91 points , 94 against.
We have played the same teams under a full coach's box led by Noddy. We lost all 4 games.
We scored 38 points , 116 against.
I disagree, we are in a worse position than what we were in before with Madge, and any new coach needs far more than luck. Anyone that watches our lot including prospective coaches knows the job ahead is mammoth. We are a highly unskilled, more like park footballers, a low IQ lot and to top it all off the club hierarchy and the club in general have a foul stench attached to them. Is it any wonder why we cannot attract top tier players, and now it seems that nobody wants to coach us.I think it's clear that sacking Madge was a politically motivated move designed to give Sheens and the whole management team some breathing room.
The phrase "development coach" was clearly a load of corporate BS.
In stating that Madge is a first grade coach in a results business and he didn't get results so he was an easy target.
We are where we are now. I don't think we are in that bad a situation. Maybe a new coach will get some luck going his way.
Very petulant. You just keep proving him correct.Oh self confessed great 1, thought you were the one.

Greg Inglis just spoke very highly of the WTs' comeback last night. If anything, WTs through that performance signaled its intent. I want more of it and want more youngsters like Matamua being promoted. That is our ticket out of where we are, not buying off cuts.I disagree, we are in a worse position than what we were in before with Madge, and any new coach needs far more than luck. I'm not as convinced as you are that we've turned the corner. The game after the Panthers should shine some light on how we're travelling for me, to get some kind of perspective? It shouldn't be too difficult to get the squad up for a game against its arch enemies Eels and Panthers, but who knows? they could play us into form?I will add that today we probably looked the best we have in a long time.
