Wests Tigers confirm 2018 home game allocation

I'd be happy with one game at Campbelltown wearing WT Maggie heritage and 1 at LO wearing Balmain heritage.

The rest at ANZ. Better facilities, better everything. Who gives a toss if it looks empty.

As for the home games they want to take away, Im good with it provided it's at a neutral venue. Not in Wellington playing NZ or Darwin playing Nth Qld.

At least with our ANZ package we get to see 8 games , I never understand the thought process at work at the Tigers from next season playing out of 5 grounds .My thought of playing out of the most advanced stadium in the country in the heart of the city that will easily accomodate an increasing membership will be not happening ,obviously the club prefers its supporters to stand on a grassed hill and if very successful thousands of fans not being able to gain entry.
The club still can not come to terms with its identity , the fan base will never be one as long as there is multiple grounds ,I live in hope that one day there will be real leadership at the top that realise what they really have instead of being stagnated in there decisions.

Does anyone know how long until our deal with ANZ ends? I'm all for games out of Sydney but I was hojng they'd be at the expense of ANZ….not Leichhardt and Campbelltown

When you have kids, ANZ is the best. Easy to get in and out, great facilities. Atmosphere is not the best, but overall I prefer it.

Hopefully they have a full-time move to a redeveloped ANZ in mind. I've never been able to understand 3 home grounds in one city.

Would be hoping to not play the extra two games in either Queensland or Victoria.

I would also be hoping that the Storm, Brisbane and Cowboys would be playing two of their home games promoting the game elsewhere.

That would only be fair, wouldn't it?

Whats the betting one of them will be at Brisbane to give them another home game the same as the reversal with Manly this year.

Hope it’s not WA. Would not be happy about that.

The club surely must be getting a nice earner to take 2 games away from its fan base,I personally do not agree with this ..already 3 home grounds in Sydney ,the club plead for memberships yet take games from the fan base .

I think we will see every sydney team taking 2 games out of sydney eother every year or every 2nd year. Tigers wont be the only ones just getting in early

Huh…We were the only Sydney Club that didn't take a game elswhere in 2017...

South Australia will be 1 is my guess..

Thinking of locations we need to make somewhere our own.

Off the top of my head a few teams are working on external locations:
Parramatta - Darwin
Souths - Perth
Roosters - Gosford and Adelaide (I am assuming that 2017 wasn't a one off)
Penrith - Bathurst

Are the Bulldogs still doing Wellington?
Anyone else?

I would take one to country NSW to a town we can grow a base over a few years. Coffs, Wagga, Mudgee etc.

I am assuming the other will be New Zealand.

The two home games that will be played outside of Sydney are aimed at growing both the club's and game's supporter base through some initiatives.

Must be secret initiatives

Is there any long term benefits of taking games on the road. Did we achieve anything by taking games to nz all those years ago? Except for a few bucks.

Why would there be a fight? I'm more intrigued as to where the out of Sydney games are planned for. I wonder if Gosford counts…

Because fans want games at Leichhardt and Campbelltown

I thought they were implying a Leichhardt v Campbelltown fight. The attendances at both were hardly brilliant. If it means more cash to the club I'll cop this set up.

The LO v CS fight will happen when the games are allocated .

Fiji. You'd pack them in and get a leg up on the next great winger.

yep - somewhere in the Pacific or even Hong Kong or China would truly qualify as an 'exciting' initiative. Asia is a pipedream but as I'm based there I'll dream on.
