Wests Tigers confirm Jason Taylor as new coach

Not a fan of Taylor .I have to give him a go as the new Wests Tigers coach.

The only thing Taylor could bring to the table of interest is how the Roosters get away with cheating the cap.

Taylor will bring a lot of energy to the Place.And wont cop crap.And now the new coach will have the tools in place to discipline any arsonist.On the field I expect Farah to flourish with the high energy and passion of the new coach.

When was the last time we weren't crueled by injuries? I would guess when Folkes ran that show
 
Good luck to him. Preferred others but will get behind him. Lets hope he is the clubs second premiership coach.

Do t get me wrong jerry I wish Taylor all the best . I hope he can Instil some discipline and consistency in the playing group ? He just comes across as a miserable expressionless person .. Hence the word scarecrow .

In his one year at parra as head coach where he took over a struggling Eels team in rd 10 after the previous coach was sacked he went 10 wins and six losses.In his first year coaching souths in 2006 he took them to their first finals series in 18 years.In his first year at Easts as assistant coach in 2013 he was part of a grand final winning side and this year the final four before losing to expected premiers Souths.
 
Would have preferred Griffin, but Taylor will do a decent job IMO. He has experience in the halves which will help with Brooks and Moses. Could have done better, but could have done a whole lot worse.
 
glad that the Coach and GM of Football Operations has been decided on.
as for coaching assistants, strength & conditioning etc.
I would like to see someone along the style of " Billy Johnstone/Steve Folkes e.g
some one who will not tolerate any crap, and get all players to perform to their potential.
 
You know what is really funny…People bitched and moaned that Potter wasn't given a fair crack....Now people are bitching and moaning that Jason Taylor has been appointed Head Coach with a mandate Mick was never afforded....For mine I'm glad the Club has a fresh approach...

Taylor is a much better choice than Parish, Kidwell or Payten. I'll take him.

That was several years ago now, let's hope he has matured since then.

I'm not unhappy with this decision. I had forgotten all about Taylor in my desire for the club to snag Griffin and avoid Parish at all costs lol. I think he'll go ok, 2 years under Robinson wouldn't have hurt him either. He has my support, I hope he has the players support as well.
