Wests Tigers depart for Alice Springs

Part of the Wests Tigers NRL squad have today departed for Alice Springs ahead of Saturday’s trial match against Parramatta.
Slight changes have been made to the squad named last week with Asipeli Fine and promising Under 20s halfback Eli Levido now making the trip to the Northern Territory.
NRL squad members Ben Murdoch-Masila, Ava Seumanufagai, Joel Luani, Taqele Naiyaravoro and Kyle Lovett will be eager to impress in their first hit-out of 2014.
Setefano Taukafa will play his first match in over two years after returning from a Mormon mission. The venue is a fitting return to the game for the young centre that served his mission throughout the Alice Springs, Darwin and Adelaide.
The match will be played in four 20-minute quarters with kick-off at 7:40pm (local time) at ANZAC Oval.
