Im so happy that the season starts a few weeks earlier…

Countdown on my laptop assumed March 16th 131 days 20 H 43 mins

and now it has bee revised to 116 days 20h 43 mins
 
Draw is OK,

Not to much traveling out of Syd,Last 6 games of the Season in the sydney Basin including round 26 Melb

I have a feeling we will play Manly at Bluetongue….we always seem to attract a massive crowd, so they love playing us up there. And I agree!!! the first few rounds will have the terrorgraph coming up with all sorts of headlines!! Can't wait :smiley:
 
the way i look at it apart from discrepancies the draw means jack for a top 4 team. And the top 2 teams just continue to belittle their opposition week in week out. Thats the pinnacle. i'm not sure if we are there yet. maybe for the teams below the top 4 the draw does play a part in the season.
 
I'm trying to steadily get to all the away venues over time. Last couple of seasons were Auckland (brilliant weekend) and Gold Coast (horrific). Will try to knock off Melbourne this season, and will look at Townsville depending on calendar.

No good for the many tigers fans up our way though. We get o.e look at the gold coast and that's it. Bummer.

not too bad gotta say the worst part will be the two long trips to canberra and melbourne two weeks in a row in the middle of winter

will there ever be a celebration of our Amco cup victory in 77? is it too early? Keith Yappy Holman was coach - i think out of respect for Yappy he must be honoured for bringing us this title home.
 
I dont think the NRL do ''mid week cup round''

Its by no means an easy first 7 rounds till our first bye…..ome teams there like Manly Penrith & Brisbane we struggle with

We'll be missing three players this origin series….surely??

Although robbie needs to hit the ground running as the weekend the first side is picked is a bye for us, meaning he has one game less to impress than that other useless turd.

Rowdy and Gal are certainties....
 
Hey X if you have a problem why dont you comment? I think we will be light on during next years SOO series, you obviously dont…why not?
 
I like the draw. And with 3 byes in the mid part of the year, will hopefully allow all teams time for any niggles to heal. I've penciled in going to 23 of the 24 games (exception being the cowboys game), but will try and get their this year. Looking forward to going to Melbourne too for the first time. With all teams being different u can't say it's easier or worse than last year. Every year the comp gets tighter. The only thing which gives the tigers a head start is our team is pretty much the same as last year and with added depth. Saying we will make the 8 is a big call before the season starts, but if we win 4 of our first 6 that will pretty much guarantee it. Soooo pumped and it's still 5 months away.

Why do we always seem to draw the Sharks for one game… at least this time its round 1 and not 20 something... should get of the a flyer I would hope...
Tough first few rounds after that though... crucial part of the season looking at the whole draw is the first few rounds... interesting... hope the boys are switched on from the start, because it will put is VERY good position for the later half.

Might get a trip to the beach too if its a w/end game and nice day
