What is everyone's thoughts on this question???

This was my response…..

This is a pretty stupid question to ask. It's like asking who do you love more, your mum or dad. They're both valuable to teh club in their own way. Who ever posted this needs to have a hard look at themselves.

Dont know what they wanted to achieve. Amateurish to the extreme if you ask me.
 
Just trying to get some sort of fan engagement, I guess. I agree with your comment, though.

* Get the plebs talking
*Throw in the membership slogan….and someones done their work for the day

Considering it's one of the few things they'll post for the rest of the year, hardly a throw-away comment. The idea of engagement is good, the execution is deplorable. We should NEVER by any means look to drive a wedge between things in our club, our structure does enough of that itself. Considering the crap that we've had to endure as supporters regarding Benji and Robbie in the media over the past few years, this is a terrible example of fan engagement. If it is their new social media person, I'd say they shouldn't be in the job for too long.

Plenty obviously as approx 75% of the comments bagged and ridiculed the poster for the topic, and the fact its been deleted…its one thing for fans to debate players pros & cons, its wrong imo for a club to do it

Actually I didn't realise it was from an official WT operated page. Figured it was a fan run thing.

Hey Snodgrass i have heaps of Footy cards from the sixties to play with & my wife wants me to dump them. Theres even a real Warren Snodgrass one there who i was actually talking to a few months back.
 
Im guessing it wasnt a good start for the new social media guy. Maybe he might have a better day tomorrow.

So tell all … What's Warren up to these days ? Is he cranky at me borrowing his identity ? Did he get a crazy look in his eyes and suggest he might hunt me down and rip my typing finger off at the knuckle ?

Footy cards from the sixties ... They'd be worth something I'd imagine.
 
I'm with you Chris, as soon as I saw the post I thought it was ridiculous, especially to come directly.from the club.
Year after year the media has a story about Benji and Robbie not getting along. Thise just adds fuel to the fire. I don't for one second doubt the telegraph would run a story next season about the disharmony in the club between the two players and how fans have had their say as to who they prefer and who should go.
