Thought I would set this up for something different.

Works the same way as regular Fantasy League but in this comp no two teams in the same league can have the same player. There'll be a live draft at midday on Saturday 18 Feb where players are chosen one by one in turns (each team has 15min to make their pick).

There is also no salary cap.
Matches start in Round 1.
There are 16 teams in the league.

If you aren't going to be available on the day you can set up a 'Pre-Draft list' that will select chosen players for you when your turn comes up.

Interesting concept…I'll give it a crack..

I'll assume the players in draft order is what you chose in your pre-draft list..

For example if you have a hooker as your number 1 pick and he is taken you will get your next available player on the list be it a half or fullback not your next hooker choice which maybe number 15 ..

Yeah that's what I took it to mean.
I assume if at the end there are no eligible players on your pre-draft for a certain position you get given a random player.

The rules aren't all that clear.

Seems to be no limit on the pre-draft list so just choose a 300 players…the order you put them in is the tricky part if your not available for the live draft...

A 16 team comp will require 272 players as no 2 teams can have the same player once they are gone

Yeah I've chosen quite a few in my pre-draft.
I think that only gets used if your 15mins elapses without choosing a player.
So if you are online at the time you can pick anyone that's available.

What happens if you get injuries , suspension SOO etc ??

Once the season starts you can trade as usual. Obviously you can't trade in players that someone else has in their team. Of course though, if someone trades a player out you can pick them up.
 
Just pushed the draft date to Saturday the 25th (still midday) to allow more time for people to join. I've also changed the capacity from 16 teams to 12.
For anyone in the NRL.COM fantasy league thinking of joining please do so, you use your same login.
 
I'm going to join Sabre as well as EB , but the site keeps crashing when I try and enter

Probably because Geo keeps changing his Fantasy side every 10 minutes

Lewis Brown is a must Geo

Neither of us will be here either way , first rep trial or a 9's thing they are doing
