You're entitled to an opinion, but thebfacts are that 1964 was the last year of the boomers. You're about 20 years off.Eh if you’re pushing 40 you’re a boomer imo
He will get confused 😁 ... english is not his first language and the sarcasm that flows around this forum will get him - he wouldn't know what to do as he takes things seriously, he's a joker but not in the english language way - he does try to joke around in english with his grand children but he often gets misunderstood... lol... our ethnicity is filipino - he loves the tigers and we as his kids (when we were young) got him to follow the sport - he still follows basketball but he now knows more the rugby league players than the basketball players... he met all the NSW blues players (this is eons ago) when they were visiting out West and they made fun of him saying he is Jamie Soward's dad, he loved it but anyway yeah he will just get confused here... lolWhy not? Tell him to get himself over here and impart some of his wisdom on us.
I know all about this...Filos do NOT get the Aussie sense of humour, but they will politely pretend they doHe will get confused 😁 ... english is not his first language and the sarcasm that flows around this forum will get him - he wouldn't know what to do as he takes things seriously, he's a joker but not in the english language way - he does try to joke around in english with his grand children but he often gets misunderstood... lol... our ethnicity is filipino - he loves the tigers and we as his kids (when we were young) got him to follow the sport - he still follows basketball but he now knows more the rugby league players than the basketball players... he met all the NSW blues players (this is eons ago) when they were visiting out West and they made fun of him saying he is Jamie Soward's dad, he loved it but anyway yeah he will just get confused here... lol
we're from Marikina City, Metro Manila but I haven't been back there over 20 years now, I mean I was back there last year but I didn't go to Marikina City... I avoided the relatives 😁 so I can really have a holiday instead of visiting this uncle, auntie, cousins all over the place and I don't even know them... there is one auntie that I really want to visit but she'll do the same... she will call in my cousins who I miss but after that, same as usual visit everyone and you just don't have time for yourself... maybe at the end of this year, I might go visit them - they are all getting old (we all are) so I will see to visit them briefly and I will go up north to Pangasinan again to relax and frequent the beachI know all about this...Filos do NOT get the Aussie sense of humour, but they will politely pretend they do
