Any of you guys who voted Api I hope you are proud of yourselves. He is not a captain. One of our worst ever captains. He has no leadership qualities. Selfish player and there is a reason he has seen so many clubs.
New captain next year please.

He doesn’t talk. He doesn’t inspire. Look at him in the presser’s…like a shy little lamb. Never says anything interesting, nothing of note. No intellectual insights…just cliches and platitudes.
He is an onfield leader of sorts but no captain.

Let’s put him up against the NSW SOO Captain Jake T.
20min on the field so I’m guessing most of his leadership is done during the week.
We have no idea how much API does for the team during the week or how much his teammates respect him and want him as their leader.
I’m pretty sure if we had someone else as the Captain this year we would have finished in the same position on the ladder.

If Luai takes over the Captaincy next year let’s hope your not repeating your thoughts about him at the end of the year.
I’m hoping Luai does control the game next year as well, Like Hughes at the Storm you don’t need to have the “C” next to your name to do that.

As opposed to he who shall not be named, who was never Captain but was told year on year on, that it was his team to run. I think they meant it "was his team to run away from!"
