please let this be only a 2 to 3 month injury urghhh

it will be 4 months at the most thats the longest recovery time for a hip, shoulder is worse for recovery.

Id probaly even take that too.. hopfully if he can come back where sitting in the top 4 for the final few rounds!

such a shame hes going to miss playing for NSW :frowning:

Thanks for the info Gaz.

I suppose we have to look at the bright side. If we can scramble enough wins with our depth, he will be back for our semi final tilt. Least its not a knee, like it looked on the TV.

Could of been worse. But we lose a whole heap of strike power. Massive loss.

no worries mate, i kno alot of people within the club so i can give you tip offs of unaccounced news

Dislocated hip possibly according to Fox… such bad luck!

Suffered this injury when I was 14\. Hip went straight back into place luckily and I missed 4 weeks. I can only pray Rowdy is as lucky. 😛ray:

I was earwigging to two officials who said dislocated hip & were hoping for 2 to three months but i guess it depends how bad a dislocation it was. I didnt realise lotti broke his arm is this correct?.

2nd that Gaz Thanks for info A lot of forum members would have lots of questions for you at the moment IE Sheens re signing , Blair possible signature etc , whether Bug is any chance at replacing Sheens if he leaves

blair isnt coming here, and sheens has no intention of leaving

Well 2-4 months is certainly better than the season.

I'd love to see Daniella and Brown replace these two, with Moltzen staying on the bench.

Sad news 😢 I don't ever recall feeling so gutted after a loss - oh that's right we won!! Probably our only chance of having an Origin rep gone again, just like Galloway a couple of years ago. Hope you get better real soon, Chris. Cut down just when you were on your way to becoming the game's best centre - we will miss you.

Ross Conlon suffered the same injury, the initial pain is right up their with the worst injuries in the game, but the good thing after rehab you dont loose your pace or step like in a serious knee injury. Three months will be the best case scenario, but it will not be season ending and Lawrence proved last year that he has good recovery powers. As for Lote, straight break could be as short as a month, if he needs surgery, ie a plate could be up to ten weeks but more likely eight.

A few years ago our season would be out the window, thanks to some really good quality depth all is not lost

That's unfortunate, hate losing these 2 when we pretty much had the game won, worst injuries to get. Best of luck to both for a speedy recovery. Time for some fringe or younger players to step up.

on lote…...Tim Sheens at the post match interview said lote had a suspected broken bone in the wrist.....he will probably be back before poor chrissy........on the bright side we got some good players in waiting Nu akeripa,Tim moltzen,Mitch Brown,Geoff Daniella, beau ryan,Jake Mullaney....?

Man that sucks so bad….
I'm so disappointed, hope they heal up quickly. Such bad luck.
At least we'll get to see Daniela & Brown more than likely replace them till they're 100%
But daaamn son, terrible news.

yeah feels like a loss, hopefully the dislocation didn't do too much damage.

Fortunately we have some good replacements for Chris and Lote, we should be fine.

Hey Guys, last night was a big kick in the guts, there is now another two sidelined due to injury. It will make it very hard to go places as a team if all the guys are getting injured. I am just very curious as to when some of our other boys come back? Ryan? Gibbs? Ellis? Fulton? Etc.. Having a lot of these guys back will definitely give us a boost
