Think we will get more forwards once we sort out everything else like Mats, Mcqueen, Reynolds, Packer, Matterson but only Matterson was in our top 17 so just need to add 1 or 2 class forwards a prop and a backrower from all that group

Could see Moylan move to 5/8 in 2021 with Lomax coming across to fb.

I don't like the injuries and the rumored lack of intelligence or passion.

If he only covers matterson's wage, and the rest is kicked in from other clubs we essentially lose nothing if it doesn't work out. We should have some extra scratch from the reworking of the salary cap and fill our forward ranks as we can

Like pretty much every signing, it's literally impossible to tell unless we know the financials. If we get him for cheap I'd be excited about the possibility of him reviving what was once an extremely promising career. If we're on the hook for the contract the Sharks presumably gave him we're being played for suckers. Since none of us knows there's no reasonable conclusion to draw but "maybe".

As Hap said - Moylan is not a FB, I'll add a below average centre, hopeless DH and so that leaves 5/8. We have a good one for 2020 in the Kiwi captain and there is an opening for 2021. We do not need him for next year.

I would like to think that we can get a better 5/8 for 2021 than this little wimp. Brimson is a possibility - anyone else we should be looking at peeps.
