WESTS TIGERS MEMBER COUNT 2011.

Yeah, something doesn't smell right with that as it can't be non-ticketed members as the NRL only counts ticketed members

Although their are many of packages, the three ground thing dosnt help. For the people of South west Sydney its a big hike to get to both LO and the SFS, like wise its a big hike for the inner city folk to go out to Cambo four times a year. Also for most young families, they dont know what they are doing this weekend so to commit for a whole season is a big ask. For nutters like myself its the best three hours of the week and worth every cent

I would suggest this is the main reason; even though there are packages, if you know you are not likely to travel to Cambo (or the SFS) and have other commitments it just all becomes a bit too hard.

The nrl.com tally includes non-ticketed members.

Hmmm I thought as per last year that it only included ticketed members in its tally.

Latest tally for all clubs. Apart from North Queensland and maybe Melbourne I think membership will be up for every club individually.

Going by the other membership premierships, we'll conclude the battle of the west week at around 7500-8000 members, we'll probably fall well short of our goal though.

I'm sure I read todays Daily telegraph having our membership well below 6000 not sure where their figures come from?

I think the Tele has been quoting ticketed memberships. While the NRl & Tigers websites have been quoting ticketed + non-ticketed memberships.

Just a thought (sorry if it's been voiced before) but do any of the membership numbers really surprise anyone else?

OK, maybe I'm biased when I say I would have thought that we'd be in the Top few most supported clubs… (I thought top 5 for sure!!) definitely not 10th...

A few others that stuck out like hell were:

- The 4 y.o. Titans have (just a few) more members than us, and in theory we have over 200 years of history and support
- The Warriors having the 2nd lowest
- And the Roosters having more than 150 members total!! 😱pen_mouth:

Like MM said though, hopefully the next week's BOTW will see us pushing a healthier 8,000 by round 1.

Could be in part due to the difference in the price point mate.

WT lowest membership (non ticketed) is $60
Titans equivalent is only $45

Yeah that's a fair point, I didn't think of that… But looking at them Dragons - $55, Brisbane - $70 and Souths - $85 ( 😱pen_mouth: )

Most clubs, including Titans, seem to hover around $210-$230 for a GA season pass so that's pretty even.

On another note, I've been waiting for next week so that my membership will count towards BOTW... Do you think if I pay for each venue individually I'll get counted 3 times?? :stuck_out_tongue:

I think borderline sad would be more accurate :stuck_out_tongue: But I'm seriously following this thing like it's a pre-season comp…

I really do hate off-season :frowning:
