Wests Tigers have named their State Cup team for a trial match against Mounties on Saturday, February 15 at 5pm at Concord Oval, Sydney.
The squad features a number of first-grade squad players who were recently defeated by a Parramatta Eels squad in Alice Springs last weekend, including Joel Luani, Kyle Lovett and Corey Brown, who scored two tries in the match. Damaging forward Sauaso Sue will also make his first appearance for the club since taking part in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup late last year.

Coach Paul Fletcher spoke about the squad and the opportunity that this weekend’s trial provides to build on the positives from last weekend’s defeat.
“The score line was no indication [of the result] last week. We’re just looking to improve in a few areas and hopefully that’ll happen this week”.
Fletcher also made special note of the first-grade members coming back into the State Cup squad, speaking of the boost that their presence can provide.
“I can’t fault anyone’s attitude when they come back, same as when they come up,” he said. “Last week we had Ben Murdoch-Masila in the team and he fit in really well so there’s no dramas when they come back”.
The trial will kick off at 5pm on Concord Oval, with entry to the match free. Fans are welcome to come, although there will be no food or drink available at the ground.
The match will be played in four 20-minute quarters.
