Wests Tigers New Years Resolution

The Tigers must promise to score more points (14th in the NRL) and make more line breaks (15th) in attack. And also pledge to miss fewer tackles (15th), commit fewer errors (15th) and concede fewer penalties (14th), points (16th) and line breaks (16th) in defence. It's not too long a list, is it? It's true that the young team needs steady improvement across the board, but a new festive season brings new hope.

Not good stats….but some of those lead directly to others, fix up a few you'll find the other stats improve.

Better defense equals less line breaks which equals less penalties (needing to slow down the roll on) which equals more ball, less fatigue, less mistackles and errors.

Defense defense defense

Would like to add that with this group of players we need a good boost of confidence and the rest will follow…

I think the confidence is there we saw plenty at times during the first half of the '14 season, unfortunately injuries, infighting, politics and personal agendas can suck confidence dry

Agree Ink,and I reckon a marked improvement overall once the season rolls on,especially now that things are settling down inhouse and in general…..

If this squad has had a very good off season,I think they will come out flying....

JT will not stand for inferior performances and will expect the best from each player....

HERES HOPING........

Robbie should vow not to jump any fences no matter how tough things get .

Wow, those numbers are horrible. Jeez I'm pretty worried about 2015; I really hope this is a clean-out year and there's a plan for the rebuild.

Bumped into Liam fulton at the casino on the gold coast, what a champion bloke ! Had an awesome laugh whilst losing money on the black jack tables and spoke about some footy…

He reckons our year comes down to injuries, if we can keep Moses, Brooksy, Teddy, Farah and Woodsy on the field for the majority of the season he says we will make the finals.

Also very complimentary of The club in the way they've looked after him since his injury. Apparently they offered to honour his contract as long as he helped out with sponsors and the like off the field.

Can we be careful with the "bumping into players "

With our luck they will be out for 3 months afterwards
