i was under the impression that debenture holders ,Berowra RSL club, many RSL clubs where built from, donated timber n scrounged tin with the generosity of debenture holders ,It is such an archic loop hole of the law, it dumbfounds me how that structure is legal today.Can it be challenged ,better men/woman have gone down that rabbit hole never 2 return

No offence to the guy but he’s one of the ~16 most powerful members of the club and his involvement:

You can’t make this stuff up.

That's the result of not feeling pressure to do anything - as long as you dont rock any boats -and being escalated through association and not merit.
All fine for the local volunteer footy club but not in a competition of this standard.

You just have to look at the guys who battle everyone everyday on these threads to see how there’s a toxic small percentage of wests magpies and Balmain fans , who would love for the club to implode .
Unfortunately it appears some of these people are in positions of authority within the club.
the nrls protection of the franchise assets , including name and licensing is really doing a lot of the heavy lifting in regards to keeping these dinosaurs at bay .
I think if the nrl had a different stance , more in line with USA franchises , then the wests tigers would be in serious trouble.

I spoke to John and he said he wouldn’t be surprised if this was the end of his time with the club, he said basically what will be will be.

Listening to it, I think he was measured and while it is clear that he disagrees with some things, he didn't cross any boundaries. Him speaking out to the media is the worst action he's committed so far.

Speaking to the media is not an offence but i can see why the morons who run our club would think it is.You have to keep the truth from the public/peasants so you can still have your undeserved perks
