Wests Tigers Podcast - Hosted by Helmsey&Eddie.

Indeed , wests tigers aren’t mentioned in their constitution
They dont need to mention Wests Tigers in the constitution explicitly. Section 10 of the Constitution lays out the objects for which the (HBG) club are established for.

Section 10 (b) states:

To assist generally in the promotion conduct and propagation of Rugby League football in the Rugby League Football District of the Western Suburbs of Sydney or elsewhere and to provide or assist in the provision of training and conditioning and teaching facilities for football played in accordance with the rules of the New South Wales Rugby Football League.

Section 10 (l) states:

To render aid either financial or by other means to clubs or associations in the Rugby League Football District of the Western Suburbs of Sydney or elsewhere which clubs or associations are playing or conducting football played in accordance with the Rules of the New South Wales Rugby Football League.

This is sufficient to cover any aspects of rugby league, be that the NRL grade 1, sub grades and juniors. The definition is broad enough to not have to name individual sporting organisations.

wests tigers members don’t get emails from HBG .
Lets be real. We are "non rights members" at the Wests Tigers - in other words, we are no more than season ticket holders. To get emails from HBG, one would have to be a member of that organisation.

I spoke to John and he said he wouldn’t be surprised if this was the end of his time with the club, he said basically what will be will be.

He is a true gentleman.
I appreciate this is answering a post from a few weeks back.... but its for John to decide if he wants to be part of the club.

I like John, he is a lovely guy. But he moved out to Mudgee (somewhere like that) some time ago, and is living his life in retirement. He no longer needs to be involved in the club, unless he wants to. I am sure he can probably hand in his Debenture seat if he no longer wants it. But thats for him to decide, surely?

On the latest Wests Tigers Podcast we discuss the re-signing of Sione Fainu, talk about the Las Vegas rumours, analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the 2025 squad, and look at some of the great naturally gifted athletes that have worn a Wests Tigers jersey.

The Wests Tigers are back! After another long off-season the Tigers back to business in this weekend's first trial. We discuss the squad picked and our expectations of the game.

I've checked out the other supporter pods happening and prefering a on stop shop I'm sticking with this one.

I like when a pod gets quickly I to the meat of issues, content I'm looking for. On other pods I find the intro pleasantries and other chat lose me very quickly.

Thanks guys, another great pod.

Thanks for the feedback and listening in 😊

Listening now …Eddie only one talking sense about Adam Doobie …a leopard doesn’t change his spots …. Gary thinks( hopes ?) he is going to be a good defender and start passing the ball to his wingers all of a sudden 😂…

Unfortunately with Naden and Olam out it appears they need to play him … Praying that a Center shakes loose for Richo because they are very weak in that position on both sides of the ball

No I don't think he will, that's why I said he shouldn't be here next year.

My point was we would be in a stronger position for this year if he could improve those areas. My thoughts on AD are fairly well known.
