So through the shredder is Will Craig - he is way down the pecking order.

Bula wasn't great but he is worth keeping to see how 2026 pans out. I trust that we don't opt for a long contract that way we can develop a replacement in a timely manner and make an informed decision on Bula's potential for further growth.

Trials do matter as it is an opportunity to expose off season developments to players that have not seen them before. Trials are not the be all and end all but answer some of the possible v probable questions in the lower grades.

Foundational - showed a solid foundation for us to work from.

Makasini has Lomu traits - but too ealy to tag hin as such. After his performance on Friday teams will have a plan to counter his play.

Trials are a definite help as it gives the coach game time for the second grade players , the coach should know who his top 17/18 are so trials are handy for the next say 4 spots .
Shredder , Will Craig is rubbish .
Bulla , was poor on Friday and I hope this is not the start of the poor form that contract pressure can add to a player , specially if he is leaning to a move , he could play poor in our first 6 rounds and destroy our season , he looked like he was disinterestedly.
