how do those media influencers make money then , not the Denny type ,normal generic type .
THru sponsorship ?

yep, sponsorships, endorsements etc...for example you tube content creators get paid per click and also duration of time they keep a person engaged. The longer their eyeballs are on the page the more exposure to the sites advertising. Its all based on volume, that's why a lot of influencers will do crazy shit to get ppl to follow. So you can personally endorse and get paid direct by the company you are endorsing or you post content on sites that have their own advertising and they pay you for the eyeballs you bring. there is a bit more to it like click thru's etc... however I'm not really across it all.

Denan kemp has done it well with "bloke in a bar". I really like his stuff. The podcasts generally get anywhere from 5-30k views on YouTube, so there'd be ad revenue from that. Hes has sponsors like grumpy coffee and one of the Mazda dealerships.. then he has monetised certain segments like "kayo cant miss moment"... and their "tip of the week" or whatever it's called with Hammy Goodman, which is all sportsbet.
