Bit of a nothing story, Brad Mcewen (i think?) said Sheens 10yr tenure is set to be terminated tonight by the board & Lote said that the players are on Sheens side but the players are confused why Ryan & Heighnington we're shipped off to the Sharks. That the Warriors are interested in Sheens & would save us a six figure payout. Then Adam Hawse said if Sheens survive's tonight there could be a player revolt as his information is that the player's are off with Sheens including Farah & Benji. That a group of players met at the Oaks pub on Monday night to discuss what's going on & including the loss of Ryan & Heighnington to the Sharks. Also possible replacements were Brown & Taylor but the name he keeps hearing is Matt Parish but the Tiger's board is hoping Sheens goes quietly to the Warriors to advoid a $500K payout. So pretty much everything that we have read & heard in the last few weeks. Will be a little be clearer after tonight's board meeting.

Ayshford had a poor 2012 but he was far from being alone. I think he can get back to his best next year for sure and hopefully maybe even put himself into contention for rep jerseys as he was at the start of the year.

I haven't even seen confirmation from anywhere that Ayshford was let go. I have seen unquoted reports as per the norm but no official word from anywhere.

I would prefer to see some younger fast players come through from NYC over the next season or so rather than pay big mooney to put Jennings in front of them. Sure, Jennings is a quality player but too inconsistent for mine to be spending big on.

no.
ayshford was stuffed around for no reason. he had a bad season this year… but he deserves another go.

altho is on $600k, someone replacing his contract would not necessarily pay all of the contract…Penrith might be left paying some, if they are desperate to move him on and free up at least some dollars.

Still cant imagine him coming here, but he has plenty to offer IMO

As above, 600k is a bit much but if wests are only putting in say 300 of that then he becomes a more attractive prospect.
