hopefully king sirro means fingers crossed that his nose **isnt** broken….
certainly looked like it, although it didnt seem to bleed as much as a broken nose does.

he may need a **rhino**plasty...

if it is broken and he doesnt play, surely no one could hold it against the guy after the heart he has shown over time.

No dramas with the starting 13 although I hope the bench players improve their performance this week. Sheens can't carry two big units who can't roll forward so Cayless and Moors better aim up sooner rather than later. Flanagan and Fitzy will get a combined 15 minutes between them.

2004 - SYDNEY ROOSTERS 56 d. WESTS TIGERS 0 at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

I remember this game like it was yesterday, then the week after (or was it before?) the Dragons also put 52 on us without reply. Two weeks, over 100 points conceded and 0 scored.

Lets belt these chooks.

I went to both of these matches…The Dragons match was first on a sunny Sunday arvo. The chooks match was on a Friday night at Campbelltow. I'll never forget it cause i had to Drive from North Sydney where i live to Castle Hill and then Campbelltown in traffic heading to the snow. Got there about 15 mins late and it was about 24 nil. If i'm not mistaken i think it was nearly 40 nil at half time. I thought we were going to lose by 80.

Yeah …i was there as well so lets keep bringing it up ....hey...

I was also the at Kogarah when Hodgo and Galea tore them a new one...

And at the footy stadium when Prince put the Rorters to the sword and Benji last year.....

C'mon you guys stop accepting mediocraty.....

Smash the Rorters.....Not 1 junior of note in there team...pfft...

Someone deleted my post.

So I will post it again.

The Fonz's stubborness has seen him pick the same ineffective bench as last game.

He does not learn from his mistakes.

Do not delete this gun-ho mods.

Rhino played most of the second half with a busted nose… dont see why he wont do it this week to... and i dont see many of the Roosters fowards being dogs like the Manly team and giving out cheap shots... touchwood haha

Cant complain about the team really. The second rowers are all 80 min players... if anything happens give Flano a go. yeh he stuffed up... admittadly big time... but give the guy a go. Moors and Cayless will come good soon they have come back from long injury layoffs and need time to readjust to the hustle and bustle that is the NRL. Remember this is Cayless's old club... hell have a bit of a fire burning inside of him to do well against them

It doesnt suprise me Sheens kept the same side... dropping players after one game, is not good for a players morale. Give them all another shot i say

I know the offseason seems to go forever but surely everyone remembers that Sheens always names the same 17 following a Monday night game. Just meeting the league requirements to submit a team but the Tuesday afternoon deadline.

I remember those games too. Gasnier started his love affair with us and by the end of that Dragons game we were so shot that Piggy Riddell busted straight through the line from a penalty tap restart 50m out to score.
And the Rooster's game was the only the 2nd game id ever been too, I remember my dad got up to go to the canteen not long to go before halftime when it was 16-0, when he came back just on halftime it was 38-0 with Bryce Gibbs almost crying while he was sitting on the bench. I remember in the 2nd half a fan in front of me kept yelling "cmon Tigers ur embarrassing me!" and the ground announcer was unsuccessfully trying to get the crowd to chant Tigers. I thought we were gonna lose by 70, and ive loved beating the Roosters ever since!!!

On our side, no real surprises there, im not that convinced on the bench but we came back well on Monday night so fair enough sticking to the same side.
It wouldnt surprise me though, if Ryan gets suspended, Fitzy will probably start and we'll have another small back on the bench instead!

Keeping poor or non performers in the top 17 is worse for morale.

No it isnt… dunno what planet your from but dropping them one game is definently not good for ones morale... you expect everythign to be perfect come round one... give them time.. everything will work

I agree with most people's comments. I am prepared to give Moors and Cayless more time to work themselves back into first grade but Flanagan and Fitzhenry need to go. Time to give Andrew Fifta and David Gower a go on the bench. When Payten is fit he should return to lock and Heighton to the bench. Also like to the Aruna given a go on the bench to run at tired forwards. Moltzen is a talent but he dropped 3 bombs and does not like to run the ball back. Pearce and Carney will test him under the high ball all night.

Rotation is not dropping. We need to rotate and give blokes that bust a gut in the lower grades a chance as well. These BRET and Magpie players privately seeth at the fact that 1st grade opportunities at the Wests Tigers are not Merit based. The perception is there, the players have told me.

Performance would be increased across the board (WT, Magpies, BRET, Toyota Cup) if the players all new that top 17 selection would only be based on performance and merit.

why is fitzy at 17.

after the hit he copped we shouldn't be taking any chances.
rest him to at least round 12 to be safe.

not impressed with what i saw from the bench.
looking forward to payten getting healthy.
tough job being the prop that replaces galloway instead of playing with him.we have struggled with that for years.
once we get that right i think we will become a more consistent team.

not impressed first up,but will keep my mind open about their worth to the team.
didn't see the trials so i'm not sure what each players lead up was like.
certainly room for improvement.

It's better safe than sorry  Just looking out for our boys hey

Should we expect news on who will be playing where tonight after Ryan's verdict is given?

If Super Beau is out then Pritchard should be one the right wing.

Fifita should replace Fitzy on the interchange.

Hope Heighington is OK. If not then maybe Schirnack, Mataka or Gower to replace him.

I wish you could pick the side.

Beau has been wiped out for 1 week, a much better result than the 3 weeks he was looking at missing. Although I don't agree with it, I suspect we'll see Fitzy on the wing now, however I would prefer to see Rhys Pritchard make his debut. Daniela can't tackle and Mitch Brown looks ordinary too. Pritchard on the other hand can tackle and finish a backline play without any dramas and has Fitzy covered for size and pace.

5\. Fitzhenry.

17\. Daniella…....

cause Lortay's hammy's are still a little suseptable to Cramp.....
