I noticed in the presser, that he mentioned how impressed he was with our indigenous work.

Something WT have lacked for a few years. Sounds like he has signed on for all the right reasons from the snippets we have heard. Hope the club can help him bring out his best. If we have in fact snagged Roberts for 150k, i think its a signing with great potential value. But i question if this figure is accurate - Why would a player forgo an approx 500k just to sign with the tigers for significantly less? Was he forced out of the rabbitohs?

He was in a dark place where he was. If he comes back well with us, proves his critics wrong, stays out of mischief, plays well, he'll be getting offered a lot more than 150k in a year or two.
