Interesting reading for all me thinks

You just forget how wayward he has been

I think this signing is very much reliant on the luck of the Tigers,
He has been incident free for one or two seasons, and we hope the next seasons are incident free while he's with us,
And you would think so after all his rehab, but it still seems like 50-50 and after many years of misfortune with signing non-performing players on big dollars the Tigers surely now deserve some good luck.

Souths aren't letting him go for the sake of it

So..if Jet makes a break, who is quick enough to back him up?

Brooks. Lightning quick for a half

Nofo and liddle r both quick as well

Good to see that indigenous players don't see Souths as the only viable destination. Jimmy and Laurie signed within a day of each other is a good endorsement with indigenous players.

Maybe that will encourage JAC to sign for 2022.

Brooks is fast off the pace but gets run down easy, depends on definition of pace, but he can be zippy. Roberts, I have a good gut feeling, I know that means little, but I have a good feeling.. 🙂 I love a feel good redemption story

Not so sure about that, Brooks has scored plenty of length of the field tries. Great to have some "jet-speed" in the team tho & heres hoping the gut feel comes through with the goods!

Well was not convinced prior to meeting and now that Signed still not convinced, but like anyone wanting to turn there life around they should be afforded a chance to deliver.

Problem is this with the Club we chase players no one really wants, BJ was a good example last season did he deliver - NO
Will the same thing happen with Roberts.

We need to start making a list of signed players since the CEO has the final say in all honestly rather of kept Mcintyre who did perform for us last season.

Talau is not a lock
BJ is not a second rower

BJ definitely not a second rower. But Talau I would give it a crack. Just don’t think he has the speed to be a centre, but supposedly has some ball playing skills. I would give him a shot.

I'm just glad you're not our coach or hopefully anyone's coach

I don't think there is a lot of development left in McIntyre if I'm honest.

Tough bugger but history of head knocks already. They take this a lot more seriously nowadays

Agreed mate, I haven't seen much in him tbh

Did anyone cover how much for James Roberts and Diane Laurie?

Man would love it if we could get Laurie Daily in as assistant coach if his TV contracts are not renewed. He would act that extra to the halves for our team. (although the priority should be a great Defensive coach.)

I coached my sons team the Chester hill hornets under 13s to back to back grand final wins in 2019 and 2020. Unfortunately as a long suffering tigers supporter you enjoy victory even in junior sport that little more.

Doesn’t mean I know anything about NRL lol, but my point is if Madge can get BJ and Roberts firing you would think they would be our centres. Still want Talau in the team and that might be an option.

When was the last time an Aboriginal played for us? Probably JAC. The only other 2 I can think of are Daine Laurie the first and John Simon 20 years ago. Haven’t been many.
