I'll reserve my opinion of him since I planted one or two on him in a night club (Kingo Hotel) here in Canberra back in 91, after a slight altercation between he and I .. !!

I can't see any value in appointing a halves coach in first grade because the half has already developed his own style of playing the game….I might be missing something?.... :sign:

It's hard to swallow, but ultimately, a good signing.

He was at a disadvantage coaching in origin with the quality in that QLD side. So, I don't see that as a real dark mark against his coaching record.

… and he has a good relationship with Robbie. So hopefully will do some good work with our spine.

With Laurie I think people that don't like him have to relax he is just a half coach it's not like he is head coach. Can't hurt
