Wests Tigers Sign Michael Chee Kam, Jack Littlejohn and Jesse Parahi

Parahi looks quick for a forward but kind of small for an NRL forward too. Would like to see if he can make a transition to the wing like Tuiaki…

I would say that being an international sevens player with pace, size and surely a better defensive technique than Korobeite he would be very well suited to wing.

Very impressed with what I saw from Chee Kam last Friday. He has pace and was very involved in the game…

Would be a good Centre……he is a bit on the small side to be a forward.

JLJ – I don’t understand why we got him for 12 months …when we had Martin and Drinkwater???…

The RA RA Guy he is super-fast if he can defend would be a handy winger as he is big and tall…

These guys could be great value…..add Mitch Allgood and we are just that…..Allgood?

Do you guys think Parahi will make it at NRL,sevens rugby is pretty quick and he has a good passing game, however could he compete with the vigour of nrl….

We have seen many rugby converts become average league players...I hope he makes a good go of it here at the Tigers.....

I'll be interested to see how he goes in the Nines, you'd have to think he would do alright.

Interesting that he has come to us instead of playing in the Rugby 7s at the Olympics next year though…

Not sure anyone could say Perahi is too small for an NRL forward - 191cm and 101kgs…? Doesn't look that fast either. Back row his best bet, maybe a centre.

Similar stats for MCK although they seem wrong. He looks like a monster on the field so maybe he understates himself on the website. Like a T-REX mould, and with similar injury problems.

I really like Michael Chee Kam in the centres. Big explosive, plenty of speed and reasonable hands.

As a back rower he is a bench player but as centre he could be anything. Id rate him as one of the better centre prospects in the game.

Finally something to look forward to in 2016

Happy with these signings given the salary cap situation the club is in. I reckon chee kam could be a regular off the bench next year. JLJ will be cover for Brooks and Moses with Drinkwater and Martin departing.

The Rugby dude looks interesting, decent pace, good footwork and probably a good motor. Could be handy in the backrow or as a backup centre.

I can imagine Chee Kam running into gaps from Moses passes at right centre. A good pick-up for the WTs and it seems we do have our scouts working hard despite cap restrictions. Well done.

All young and at least a few signings ,do not know anything about them so welcome to the club good luck .

He played centre for manly on sturday for a large portion of the game when Stewart went off, and yes he has some speed and was always in support.

So i open google and type im Jesse Parahi, what comes up is "wests tigers sign unknown trio" seems like us

Yeah i like him outside of Brooks and Moses. Also noted that he wasnt intimidated up against some big names, attitude tick for me.

Just watched some of Parahi's highlights….he doesn't seem like he has much pace.

are you kidding Sabre? You should know by now, Taylors structures can not be altered, like for like players is the way to go.

Slow winger out, slow winger in.

I get the feeling that Taylor thinks the game will be faster and more expansive next year with two less interchanges, hence the style of player he is recruiting. I feel a little better with what we have recruited this year than some of our recruitment in the past, but we still only shop in the bargain stores and hope for a miricale

you mean like taupau?

Littkejohn simply a cover, perhaps utility type. Mck and parahi, now we are getting a look into Taylor's bio mechanical insights into body types.

Mck I think will be a diamond if used right, a hard hitting solid back rower with excellent leg speed, too good as a stop gap centre. Watched s bit of manly this year if offers plenty.

From the SMH, "Tigers officials view him as a wide-running back-rower and say at the age of 26 Parahi wants to return to the code he first began playing as a Canterbury Bulldogs junior while still a chance of playing at NRL level."

Not a Rugby convert speculator by the looks with League experience already

Looking at his highlights, I think he could be quite handy if he readjusts without too many issues. Didn't know he was a Bulldogs junior so that's a plus given he has played the game before. Looks to have good footwork, good strength and knows how to use his shoulder.
