Could turn out to be another Twal or Aloiai. However, it’s pretty uninspiring atm. Not even one two quality signings will save us next year.

You’d hope he doesn’t turn out to be another Aloiai…. he’s garbage .

Aloiai is a great impact player but he doesn’t get enough game time to get warm.

You are kidding of course.

He is absolute garbage. Should never, ever, be picked in first grade again.

Did you actually watch the souths game? He has as much impact as a wet lettuce. Cannot tackle or pass a ball, has no speed,no sidestep and no bloody idea.

Not even good enough for reserves.

One of our only forwards with good leg drive. For a middle forward he has good speed. He kills it in reserves.

Still he is a massive disappointment. He isn't performing well in first grade.

His defensive errors against Souths were stand out shocking. Either in the wrong position or poor technique. He wasn’t the only one but still a stand out.

Actually we need a couple of centers. Marsters hasn't been the same since the game against England. Maybe a trial in the forwards? After all he played there in his junior days.

Here"s a hypothetical question : if we signed Toupo from Easts who would be our starting wingers?

Nofoaluma, Thompson, Toupo, Momirovski
the beast, Marsters or someone else?

Those missed tackles were as bad as it gets. He needs to do some serious work on his game or he is not going to make it as a first grade player.

After watching his last two games on ISP-

- some very very poor misses in defence
- doesn’t go looking for work (dirty yards)

Depth signing at best imo. I hope he came cheap.

I was going to mention this last week… not very impressed with this signing , the Magpies Center played all over him , it seems the plodder signing mentally continues.

The only thing I'll say is 1-2 games isn't a sufficient summary of what a player can offer.

Everyone's banging on about Jazz Tevaga in the other signing thread, driven largely, it appears, from his performance in the Warrior's loss on the weekend.

As for players not wanting to come here - how do knights and Eagles attract players? Surely we are more attractive than these clubs at the moment?

Welcome Paul M to the club.

Newy and Manly are Beach side clubs with inherently good stable cultures.

Work (Half decent Coin)and live on the northern beaches or out of sydney.

Yes Please

Well said jirskyr
I'm neither here no there about this signing but it appears some expect him to walk into first grade and are now disappointed.
He's a developing player, could be a gem, could go the other way… Give him a chance

Agree with you and jirskyr. Deserves a chance within our system before writing him off or not.

He plays outside Mitch Cornish, who passes the ball less then John Morris used to for us. Can't judge off his NSW Cup games. His one game in NRL he was very good.

Some people just lose me with their comments on new players and their abilities.
One good game … Sign them before anyone else does.
One bad game ..... signing is rubbish!
Give a break ..... just a joke!

He is young and undoubtedly was signed to strengthen the club.He is far to young to write off as a poor signing.
Many people make judgments off too little information.Whoever decided to sign him would have been monitoring him far longer and in greater detail then any of us.
